I can already predict this will chart between 6-10 without hearing it :P

It's surprising that she is still going but 'Impossible' was one of the best songs of 2010 in my opinion.
I adored 'Impossible' and 'T-Shirt', and maybe a few others from her two albums but she's nothing too special. I doubt this'll do ANYTHING, even if it is amazing. Although because she's such a non-name, she could get a small hit if the song is really good - but I doubt it'll be anything more than a generic, nice enough R&B song.
I actually think she stands a better chance now without even listening to the song. Her last record company didn't do her justice in my opinion and hopefully this new one will invest some money into her. She's had 3 top 40 singles out of 6 and Battle Cry wasn't that far off so she has potential. Both her albums have completely bombed though, despite the two latest singles from her most recent one 'Perfect Nightmare' and 'Say Hello To Goodbye' being great.

She is pretty much the new Cassie, except for some reason they're still trying to make Shontelle happen.

I did love 'Impossible' in fairness, 'Battle Cry' and the song about a nightmare weren't too bad. Everything else = :puke:

'Stuck With Each Other', 'Impossible' and 'T-Shirt' are all stunning. I actually really like her whole 'No Gravity' album tbh. This new track however, sounds god awful.
'No Gravity' is amazing and such an improvement on the majority of the 'Shontelligence' album. Such a shame they handled her badly with that era as most tracks could have been a hit given the right promotion etc. :(

Shontelligence is much better than No Gravity! It has some identity and a sound she can call her own. The second album was just pure generic midtempo rubbish. Say Hello To Goodbye was okay but the rest... blah. I actually hate Impossible.

I prefered No Gravity as well, Impossible, Say Hello, DJ Made Me Do It and Perfect Nightmare are all amazing! Shontelligence was pretty good as well though. Especially T-Shirt and Battle Cry
DJ Made Me Do It is one of the most ridiculous songs I have heard in a long time. It's ridiculously catchy though.

I much prefer No Gravity. It may be faceless, generic R&B/pop but at least it is GOOD.

T-Shirt, Battle Cry, Roll It and Focus Pon Me are all FAR better than anything from that album.

I don't really think any of them are as good as the majority of the tracks on No Gravity. As I say I don't NEED personality/identity on a song to enjoy it.
Her debut album was embarrasing. 'Plastic People' in particular is probably the most ridiculous song I've ever heard.

Oh absolutely but the four songs I listed were great. I just prefer to have some personality than super-generic beats that everybody else is doing. Being generic is fine if you can afford good generic songs (hi Britney) but not if you're Shontelle and you keep being given Rihanna's castoffs (which have already been given to Alexis Jordan, Nicole Scherzinger and Kelly Rowland, and passed on by all of them).
