'Moves Like Jagger' sounds like Maroon 5 went for lunch, Christina broke into the studio and added her bit. Then when they came back they put it on iTunes and didn't realise LOL.

Her part is SO pointless...

Come on Mikal - she's got to cling onto the dying moments of her fame somehow!

'In the Dark' is FOUL. Really, REALLY do not see the fuss. It's just standard Dev really. The video also makes me wanna vom. :puke:

Title of Dev ft. JLS Part II?

15. Moves Like Jagger (Studio Recording from the Voice Performance) - Maroon 5

34. Don't Go (Radio Edit) - Wretch 32

36. Sunlight (2011) - Modestep

42. Heaven - Emeli Sandé

99. See No More - Joe Jonas

No sign of 'Lunar' or 'In The Dark' top 300 yet :(

I initially didn't see Wretch ahead of Modestep and was scrolling down the top 300 and I thought 'wow, this is a massive flop so far!' Then I scrolled back up and yeah, it was #34. Hopefully it will overtake Maroon 5 soon :D

It might sound stupid but a part of me would like to see 'Moves Like Jagger' get to no. 1 purely because it'd be a big slap in the face to Radio 1 - the "UK's biggest radio station" who are too much of a musical snob that they shun a track that combines Maroon 5 and Christina Aguilera.

If it does go to no. 1, I wonder if Radio 1 would begrudingly playlist it (C-list of course  ).

Ones To Watch (movement since my last update)

Still no sign of the other two :(

Going on past form, I'd guess they'll just try to ignore it and hope no-one notices. Ironically, the more well know the artist is, and therefore the less excuse for not noticing they had a song out, the less likely they are to concede. It is always quite amusing to hear them announce a song not on their playlist in the charts, especially the midweek chart update.

Surprised to see Move Like Jagger doing well over here, considering The Voice was never aired in the UK, personally I don't think the song is great
I don't understand the attitude that R1 *has* to playlist anything that is a hit. They're *not* a hits station, if you want that there's Capital.
The new entries are going to knock marry you out of the top 20. :( I like/love most of them though.
Glad Moves Like Jagger is doing well though I do wish Emeli was doing a bit better

I think she is doing great. I think we could have an all new top 3 this week now, Maroon 5 at #1, Wretch at #2 and Emeli at #3.

Actually I don't mind the Maroon 5 track its quite good minus Christina Aguilera on it, at least having new 3 tracks in the top 5 should clear some of the deadwood out of the top 10.
Keep climbing Maroon 5. Refreshing to have a track doing well without the huge influence of radio 1 & Capital.

11. Moves Like Jagger (Studio Recording from the Voice Performance) - Maroon 5  1

16. Don't Go (Radio Edit) - Wretch 32  11

22. Heaven - Emeli Sande  19

33. Sunlight (2011) - Modestep :right:

Wretch could easily steal it from Maroon 5 now, moving incredibly fast!

Wretch is going to get it now :(, really was happy with the idea of Maroon 5 and Christina Aguilera still managing to get a #1 in 2011

YES WRETCH :cheer:

It'll clear out 'Best Thing I Never Had' and two songs which are less than a month old. The only thing even remotely 'deadwood' in the top 10 is 'The A Team'... I think people sometimes just say this automatically whenever there's more than one top 10 entry in a week without actually looking at the top 10.
