Interestingly, Wretch seems to be having a bit of a boost, but overall not much change - Ed still increasing in decent amounts though!

Or maybe an upchuck? :w00t:

The A Team is showing incredible longevity, it seems that each week no matter how many songs enter above it, by the end of the week it will have overtaken the same amount of songs falling! Calvin and Olly will overtake next week and it'll probably climb above David and Nero!

I'd love for Beyoncé to climb into the top ten again, and possibly squeeze another week in the official top ten this week! I'm glad it didn't bomb though, like 'Last Friday Night' seems to be doing (although the songs are in different situations obviously). Also pleased Dev seems to be getting another top fourty hit this week, 'In the Dark' is an absolute choon and deserves at least top twenty (ten, even, when you think that the awful 'Bass Down Low' got there!)
Ooh, I thought this may have been doomed to be the last week in the top 10 for 'The A Team' :D Brilliant to see it back up to #7. Also L.I.F.E.G.O.E.S.O.N. back in the top 40 :D

How is LFN bombing? Over 200k+ for a #9 peak is quite decent considering it is a 5th single and it's probably still just outside the iTunes top 20 with all its versions combined.

I'd say 'Last Friday Night' under-performed when you take into consideration the video airplay and popularity of the track. It was clearly impressive to have spent five weeks between #9 and #10, but it does seem to be falling relatively quickly down the iTunes chart (although other singles are doing the same thing).

As for a #9 peak selling 200k, I wouldn't say that was THAT impressive. In 2010, David Guetta's 'Memories' was certified 'silver' after ~4-5 months - despite only spending 11 weeks in the T40 - and only 4 in the T20 (one of which was spent at the peak of #15). I'd say 'Memories' was a much better example of impressive 'under-performance' sales - a T10 is surely expected to clear 200k?

Yeah but sales are in the toilet lately. There's no point comparing.

Not below the top 5 they're not, they're up with average 2011 levels which are the highest in years.

So, Lunar won't be officially top 40 this week.

DJ Fresh 'Gold Dust' sold 200k+ with a #24 peak. Wynter Gordon might sell the same too with 'Dirty Talk'.

I still think that 200k is very good, regardless of the peak, but I see your point when you're saying that for #9 peak it's not that impressive.
