I'm possibly not sending anything at all this time around as my back up has already been submitted too and I'm really not likely to get behind any of the other songs I was even vaguely considering.

I'm still struggling for inspiration. I'm doubting the song I'd like to enter as it really isn't very "Buzzjack" and would probably be my first DNQ after such a good start.

Did you have a look at Shoat's personal chart?

I'm not sure I would class either as being that good really, but the COADF one benefits from having a slightly stronger melody and better production.

 

Perhaps it's the ridiculous overplay/overuse on tour or my lukewarm view on its parent album, but LAFS (Fever Version) has never been a favourite of mine. It's got all the ingredients but comes out all wrong.

 

I love Fever! I actually prefer Love Affair to Love At First Sight though and think that could have been a pretty big single too. Not that I was displeased at the singles chosen...

And I'm abandoning Sweden for the second consecutive month, I feel dirty but Sweden hasn't exactly been throwing out the goods in the last couple of months like they usually do :(

It's really irritating to spend time finding things to then discover someone else has already submitted it...

I may actually have a problem with my entry... it's come up on youtube under a playlist for Eurovision entries(!!!) - is there anyone I could send a link to that will know if it's been submitted to the real contest or not?

My entry this month is German ( I know, check me out), so since I've re-joined I've gone Canada, Britain, German. Plus I have some potential entries from France(The song is actually in french though unlike the others), Sweden, America and Denmark.

As far as announcing what's already been submitted so far, I think it's just always been the case that entries are revealed when the semi finals/final opens. I guess it makes it a bit more fair for all the songs to be revealed in one go just incase songs that are submitted earlier grow on people prior to the voting opening.

Only in the last few contests really. In the days of the public confirmation thread I don't think anyone confirming earlier or later had a particular advantage over anybody else as I expect the majority of people don't listen to anything until the voting starts - well I don't anyway :lol: I'm more inclined to have something grow on me if somebody's PM'd me during the confirmation period asking for my opinion on their potential entries - because then obviously I do have to give them an early spin!

 

I can see Dandy's point but I can also understand why they're all left until the same time to be revealed.
