I keep hearing Domino everywhere and it's actually growing on me I could cry.

All I ever heard from September to December in New Cross was 'Stereo Hearts' and 'Moves Like Jagger'. Could not escape the SHRILL SHRILL of Adam Levine ;(

'Domino' becomes Jessie's first Billboard Hot 100 top ten hit this week, climbing up to #10 :D

I'm glad this is going to be the last single to close the era off. It's been a massive era. Laserlight does sound similar to Titanium but I don't find it identical. I love both but I think I prefer Laserlight slightly more. It feels like a summer smash too. Hoping it can be another big hit for her. I think it could be considering it's on the Platinum edition of the album.

 

Here it is if anyone's yet to hear it! I'm wondering if it will get moved forward eventually because 3 months seems so long (though it's only about 14 weeks) :lol:

 

I've just given her album another listen... and you know what it's not that bad. Vocally she's still over the place (she does have a great voice though) and lyrically she needs work... but I think her sophomore material will be very good. This album is playful fun.

I love both! 'My Shadow' more because the first time I heard it, it was live. But I still love 'Laserlight' too. (Although I definitely prefer 'Repeat'!)

I never heard of Repeat before is it a leak?

It's the song on David Guetta's album. Was rumoured to be the next UK single for him, but I believe plans for that have been scrapped/never went further... :(

I think 'Repeat' is actually quite weak, certainly not the best thing on Nothing But The Beat. It's good but nothing outstanding.

 

I prefer Laserlight to it by far. Laserlight was my least favourite of the new tracks as well, until I saw this live performance of it. I don't know, I just love it. Her vocals are not perfect on it (this was her first live performance of the song ever, and was her first performance back after having to cancel her Australian leg of her tour due to vocal problems), but I think it works being stripped back and her dancing is hilarious. You can just tell she is having fun and loving what she is doing:

She has said numerous times that she is going on tour again this year, near Autumn time, and she has said she is hoping for it to be her first arena tour, so you should keep your eye out for when the tickets go on sale :kink:

Knowing my luck i will break both my legs this time :cry:
