But to be fair, The silence was a fifth single from an existing album that had already sold like 600/700k. So despite it what i consider her second best track from her career so far, it wasn't destined to be a hit.

But if Jessie keeps selling the way she does and by the time WYA is a single at X Factor time, it'll also be the 4th/5th single from the album. But I guess Alexandra got all her sales from the X Factor audience already when she performed 'Bad Boys' and the album opened up with as much as it did.

Who's Laughing Now is amazing, but I am not sure how well it will do as a single. If 'Nobody's Perfect' could only get to #9, I can see WLN scraping the top 20. I agree though, she should save Who You Are for an X Factor performance and get one last top 10 from the album.
YES! 'Who's Laughing Now' is perfect. I'm really hoping for a fantastic video! (I'm imagining something similar to P!nk's 'Stupid Girls' - but instead of famous celebs her own life - if you get what I mean?)
I agree with both of you too - WYA could get her another top 10 but WLN might only get top 20 (at a push). I do love WLN but WYA is one of my faves on the album.
But considering they're most likely releasing at least another two singles off the album, 'Who You Are' would do a lot better as the fifth single than 'Who's Laughing Now'.
I think Who's Laughing Now is better for summer. Then she should release Who You Are around Christmas along with an XF performance. That is probably their plan.

But what if it isn't and they make more silly choices instead?

Jessie has said in a interview that Who You Are will definetly be a single at some point as it would not feel right not realase it

Well she did say this recently:

Our favourite track from the LP is the title track. We’re hearing some murmuring about it being the next single. Can you shed any light on that?

No ,that’s not true yet. I just got the call this morning asking “will it be a single?’ But I don’t think that’s going to be the next one. Simply because I want ‘Who You Are’ to come out nearer Christmas time. It’s the perfect song to come out when things are (this is going to sound really crazy)…winter-y. I kind of want to bring it out when I know people are going to need it the most. The year is not out for me, and I think that we can release another song from the album before that.

And Simon adores her, he actually wanted to give her an XF performance last year when she wasn't even that big yet. I can't see her not performing this year.

Even though Simon himself won't be on the show?

The show is made by Syco TV so he will still be involved in some way.

Just watched her performing at Capital Summertime Ball et aaaaw for her leg, hopefully she can recover quickly.
Flop :D Bye Jessie, it was nice knowing ya... well Do It Like A Dude was nice at least

... who says it'll flop. This is the UK, where Jessie is close to 'national treasure' status. OK not really  but you get my point, any song released by her will do well. DILAD and PT were amazing
