it really says something about the quality of the songs though, Shayne's song is merely 'quite good'! :(

I can't help but laugh at those who are listing 'Bleeding Love' as worse than 'Against All Odds' and 'Don't Call This Love' but each to their own. :P

There is something though that I like about 'Run For Your Life'. I don't think it's brilliant on first listen but I definitely think there's some potential there.

Leona's song was/is a true classic imo. The Top 3 are some of my favourite songs from the last few years.

This isn't bad, just incredibly dull. I think it should do alright though, I can see it peaking at #3 and having 8 or 9 weeks in the top 40. I think the album will sell really well though.

I think Bleeding Love is an overrated piece of drivel, but then, almost everything Leona does is like that.

Bleeding Love is one of my least favourite songs of all time :puke: maybe because it was so huge at the time, I respect it will probably become a classic, but it remains limp dirge with no melody to these ears...

don't get me wrong, Steve and Leon's songs are dire too, but I don't quite have the same level of hatred to them than I do to that song

Leona's first album campaign was SPOT ON and I was a serious loon for her back then, everything since has been downhill.

Oh and Matt Cardle's song is terrible, wishy washy crap, but I didn't expect anything better anyway!

Really liking Matt's on first listen - totally what I expected but 'tis all good ^_^

Matt is better than this song, his winners single was actually far better. This sounds like something Joe Mcelderry would have turned down.

As much as it pains me to say it but Bleeding Love is the only decent song that has been mentioned. Although I still think it was was eulogised and looned over far more than it deserved (and it stopped the far superior Rule The World from getting to number 1) I still think it thoroughly deserves to rank head and shoulders above any other X-F winner's 'first proper' single.

I am surprised nothing more has been said about the music video. What a load of old cobblers, artsy fartsy wet background woman/visuals and dressed like you're popping down the shops? It's all so jarring and nonsensical and I think he should be embarrassed.
And may I add, there is nothing worse than tacky "singer-songwriter" stuff, at least with tacky pop it generally tends to know what it is and own it...

I said something similar on the previous page at 3:24! Only you put it into words so much better than I did!

Yeah, the video is rather bleh, Matt looked fit though.
