this can't be true??

"She should donate and apoligize for her rudeness and damage she has bring to our community"

LMAO. What a pathetic, non-story! The UK public really will think of ANYTHING just to get a story! I'm pretty sure everyone KNOWS the gun BRITNEY SPEARS is carrying is not a real one! And the tie in to the riots? Oh dear UK public!
No disrespect but does Britney even know about the UK riots having happened? I doubt she will have been like oh yeah LOL lets recreate that!

Is this f***ing serious. The UK media is f***ing pathetic.

I dedicate this song to this story.

Half the people they interviewed probably held a gun somewhere on there body.
'...running around with obviously a fake handgun-' 'obviously?' Can someone just go ahead and slap that fool.

THIS. (twice please)

What's wrong with these people? :drama:

God, it's so annoying when people make a meal out of nothing! If they don't like it, why did the film her? The only people that need to film her are her music video crew, no one else. If it's such a problem, they shouldn't have broadcast it on TV - the news show is basically making it worse, they are the ones broadcasting it!

Make a donation? No, I don't think so. Of course the more money that goes to charity the better, but why should Britney donate - I doubt she even knew about the riots! I doubt it was big news in the US! Bad timing maybe, but no way wash she at fault and we all know it's not a real gun!

And if this 'influences' people, they should know better to be honest. I'm in the age group that the majority of rioters were from, and seeing a music video with a gun in it doesn't suddenly make me want to pick up a gun and run around London with it? If that does influence someone, they probably need help - no disrespect. And surely the people who will watch the Britney video will not be the same people who will have a gun? That's definitely not her target audience.

Britney, just carry on with what you're doing and ignore them - they're making a deal out of an innocent music video! We can't wait to see it!

It's quite funny to be honest if we consider the exposure, better yet the lack of exposure 'I Wanna Go' had in this country. I think it's safe to say that 'Criminal' would have underperformed in the same way. By reporting this 'controversy', bare in mind for an unreleased music video, they're attracting attention to it and it's music video. DUMB F***S

She actually filmed the video in Stoke Newington which is about TEN MINUTES down the road from Tottenham which saw the worst of the rioting.

It's all a bit BIZARRE.

It's obviously a massive overreaction typical of the tabloid press but by a similar token who approved this concept and this location for shooting (PARDON LE PUN) knowing what happened in the UK so recently which is still so raw? It was asking for trouble!
