I imagine they heard the idea of doing the track and ran a mile due to naffness (although that never stopped Dizzee before)

Maybe Tinie, yes, but if Dizzee would do a charity single... for the World Cup... with James Corden... associated with Syco... launched on Britain's Got Talent... sampling Tears For Fears in the cheesiest way imaginable... I don't see why he'd have a problem with this! I presume they just didn't ask him

Now I think about it Dizzee has done a couple of songs since 'Shout' - but 'Heavy' with Chase & Status has bizarrely never been made available to download separately and 'Loca' didn't get a proper release here. He has had one more top 200 hit since 'Shout', featuring on D Double E's #200 hit 'Bluku! Bluku!' Surely he'll be back fairly soon though, I'd imagine he's still popular enough to be guaranteed a 6th #1 whatever he releases. Maybe he should do another Calvin Harris collaboration in Summer 2012.

the intention was good but it would have been better if a stronger singer was on chorus and 1 person did a verse not 6 or 7 singing a different line

I actually really like this, after hearing the song properly. A very good modern day interpration of Teardrop.

They literally couldn't think of a more up to date idea imo. I fail to see how anyone can dislike this.

But this is Buzzjack. :P

The rapping is of an atrocious standard and that's not even going into why Teardrop should NEVER be covered this way. Oh, and how's this for a more up to date idea? Use your own creativity and write your own f**king song.

This is properly abysmal, even Labrinth's production doesn't go, although I am sure it would have been alright with another song. Its just them talking and saying random words that make no sense, Ms Dynamite's lines as a perfect example, just randomly saying things about punctuation. This better flop.

No-one seems to like it tbh, it has as many dislikes on YouTube as it does likes.

Oh my god. Im trying to get over how terrible this is.

The moment the dubs started on the intro I actually clenched my kneckles.

IM SO ANGRY.

I always thought this sounded like a bad idea but I thought maybe Gary was able to pull it off. NOPE. Maybe if they were rapping instead of talking it'd sound a bit better, but as it is Tulisa's bit is the only listenable part of the song. Gary's random interjections in the video are odd too considering this song is clearly meant to be "cool and current."

It's quite hard to predict too. Essentially there's no one particularly huge who takes part, so even though I'm used to these songs shooting to #1 I can't see a reason people would buy it other than for charity.

The video is even worse than the song, Gary Barlow appears twice on screen just looking to camera with a serious face, first wearing a blue shirt second time a black shirt :o Pudsey Bear gets equal billing with Gary and is also shown twice.

This is the type of song I should like but it is truly awful. It goes nowhere, the chorus, verses and performances are all weak. Tulisa seems to be trying hard to save it but it is just the wrong song. I cannot imagine a live version.
