Me and Regina were talking about Erotica, I mentioned I wasn't a massive fan of any of the singles and he suggested this. I quite like this, still not sold on listening to the album though :P

It really is. Like most of her albums I find it tails off at the end but the first run of 9 or so tracks is simply divine.

 

This is certainly true, the last few are a bit dull in comparison.

I've become obsessed with Secret! I can't stop listening! :wub: I can remember being this crazy about Vogue after hating it for so long!
I guess I never really gave it a chance! :P I remember hearing it for the first time on the Celebration album, and it just took her too long to start singing. But then I heard it on a megamix on Youtube, and loved it! :D
It's a great song. It was played on radio 2 last week. I hope she does perform it on the MDNA tour has rumours have suggested.

Just listened to Confessions on a Dancefloor again, and it's still a beautiful album! :wub: It's great how all the tracks flow into each other. Hung Up, Sorry, Jump, Let It Will Be and Like It or Not are my favourites! Isaac would sound much better without the Indian guy on it, as Madonna's parts are great! Definitely her best album of the 21st century! :D This is how Madonna should be doing dance music.
I'd kill for another Confessions, it's near enough flawless. A million miles ahead of the crap she's releasing now.

Funnily enough I was listening to that last night too :lol: It is indeed an excellent album, light years ahead of what she's doing now. I agree with most everything there bar the dislike for the "Indian guy", I love his parts! 'Isaac' is one of my favourites on the album. Really the only thing I'd change about the album is cutting 'Push' - it's trash.

I think Push is probably my least favourite, but I still really like it. It's incredibly catchy, that's for sure! The "Indian Guy" - what is his name, as I'm sure he wouldn't appreciate being called the "Indian Guy" :lol: - isn't too bad when the songs gets going. The album is much better than Hard Candy and MDNA, although MDNA is still a very, very good album I think. It needed some killer singles, but most of the album tracks are really good. I was listening to Hard Candy a couple of days ago too, but my opinion on the album has gone down. I felt like skipping most of the tracks, although I still love Candy Shop, 4 Minutes, Give It 2 Me, Miles Away, She's Not Me, Devil Wouldn't Recognise You, and Voices. :wub:

His name is Isaac .. The song was called that because that's his name and madonna didn't know what else to called the song.
Oh I love 'Push'! :o :( I think Confessions is probably my favourite album from her, it's certainly a strong contender anyway!
A few days ago I discovered and fell in love with Easy Ride, from American Life!

Yes !

I must admit that I love every song on American Life, and that's rare. Even with MDNA, which is an album in my top 3, I switch a few songs ("I f***ed up", "Some girls"...).

"Nobody Knows Me", "Intervention", "Mother and Father", "Nothing Fails"...

American Life is a masterpiece. Musically, vocally and spiritually. It's kind of sad that a lot of people stopped on the song "American life" because of its political content, and boycotted the whole album. Well, at least, the Americans began to hate Bush 4 years after Madonna which means she was right, even if they won't admit it :angel:
