Going off at a tangent - have you noticed that iTunes seems to react to new entries far quicker than other sites such as Amazon?

Great to see Rihanna, Ms. Dynamite and Nicki Minaj all making progress within the T40 on iTunes. Permitting they can climb a bit further before Sunday - 'Fly' will mark the sixth new entry of the week (Pixie Lott // The Saturdays // Leona Lewis // Snow Patrol // Rihanna // Ms. Dynamite) and then a potential re-entry for Adele with RITD - although it's began to fall.

I keep seeing the music video for '1+1' on the music channels - should we take it to mean there's a possibility of it being the third single - or merely a 'buzz video' for promoting '4'.

I'm so happy Leona is still increasing. She is getting steady airplay now and I can see "Collide" having greater longevity than The Saturdays or Pixie.
At least The Saturdays should easily keep number 3, quite a gap there!

I see that happening too Jimmie! :D

#52 You and I - Could it be Gaga's first flop? Hope not! It just doesnt seem to be going anywhere..

This is true it is pointless until half way through the week to check the other sites they are very slow to update.

I think Pixie will have the most longevity her song will continue getting the most airplay for awhile.

Does anyone else feel like Pixies song tries to hard to be current? Just how I feel.

I'm surprised how front loaded The Saturdays are, did they actually make it to number 1 at one point? I can see Maroon 5 getting to number 2 and Leona getting to number 3 soon :)

The gap is only 20% now, I think it was something like 30% yesterday between #3 & #4, so i really see Leona getting to #3 by Thurs/Fri, possibly before.

It was released as a promotional single for the album, in the US, and she's filmed a video for virtually every song on the album. Though I think she should just make it the third single.

How can it be - there's no r*p in it...

To me, it is pure pop, and that is always current.

HA. I'm not even going to give the troll attention by telling you why that's wrong on so many counts.

I'm not a troll!

Yes, the first part was sardonic, but the 2nd part was what I really think.

I agree with him. You're correct, rapping in pop songs is popular at the moment, but I think he was referring to another popular thing in pop music at the moment, club/dance/electro beats, which Pixie's song has in.

I think its the lyrics mainly for me, they're just so bland. 'I bought a new pair of shoe's' .. 'Grab someone if you're single grab someone if you're not' 'All About Tonight' its just a little dull for me, no deeper meaning and all been said before in thousands of other songs, no uniqueness in the lyrics.

I think its fine to have an upbeat/club-vibe beat but lyrics need to offer something different at least, just something that stands out.

What Pixie has done successfully though is looked at what is current/selling and brought out a song which slots right in, and thats why she's #1 (ofcourse TV/Radio support too). Not sure it'll have great longevity or overall sales, and doubt it'll be remembered or played any time after this year.

You know what song i really liked from Pixie, Gravity! I really was in too that when it was out, where did it peak? Can't remember!

I wish Ms. Dynamite was doing better, it's so much better than the 3 singles that are competing for the best spot.

Pixie Lott - All About Tonight (Accoustic) 59p.

Imagine If The Saturdays did this with All Fired Up :)

I was about to post that. I wonder will it be able to contribute much to sales? I wish she'd made all the remixes 59p too. And the main song while she's as it. Get those shameless extra sales Pixie!
It's hardly a shameful extra sales when it's not really the main version, very, very smart decision by herself and her label imo.
