February 26, 201213 yr can the BBC get someone current to ESC for ONCE??! Nope, the BBC are too scared to ask current acts and I think that they don't think the contest is suitable for them either  By the way the Mechanical Man thing was a joke one of my friends started, that's definitely not true  Not that I believe Atomic Kitten is either. Are BBC REALLY that clueless?
February 26, 201213 yr Author Jenny Frost on Twitter: Happy Sunday guys-Woke up to hear that apparently AK are doing Eurovision-first I've heard!! Sat in Pub with my gorgeous boys I think the Star on Sunday were just attention-grabbing!
February 26, 201213 yr Thank f*** for that  We could at least send someone current like The Saturdays or someone popular in Europe like Mel C, but I know we'll end up with an awful option.
February 26, 201213 yr Author I would have been happy with Atomic Kitten, I was a big fan back in the day - but in terms of getting a good result, I don't think AK would have done too well :)
February 26, 201213 yr So it isn't Atomic Kitten? Oh!!! :( That means it IS John Barrowman after all. Let us cry tears of horror together. <--- horror tears
February 26, 201213 yr I'm not fussed one way or the other. I love Atomic Kitten, and they genuinely are one of my all time favourite acts, but I'd like us to send an act that has a chance for once and I just don't see an ancient girlband doing well in the contest. The Star is such crap, half if not more of their stories are fabricated, I won't believe anything until the BBC announce it. And I bet everyone it's somebody ten times worse than Atomic Kitten would have been :drama:
February 26, 201213 yr Author Of course the fact Jenny hadn't heard about it could be that Liz and Tasha could have been secretly reuniting with Kerry! :o It's a good job Kerry left AK though because Jenny was a key to their eventual success!
February 26, 201213 yr Author Liz also denying the rumours now: Loving the rumours & thank you for all the well wishes but we know nothing about #eurovision @natashaofficial @jennyfrost22 @KerryKatona7 xx
February 26, 201213 yr I don't believe in these rumours. Some unknown artist will be representing UK this year, me thinks. Edited February 26, 201213 yr by The Girl
February 26, 201213 yr The Star is such crap, half if not more of their stories are fabricated, I won't believe anything until the BBC announce it. And I bet everyone it's somebody ten times worse than Atomic Kitten would have been :drama: Yes, their TV guide is also to taken with a pinch of salt. They once listed BBC2 as showing a film called 'To Be Announced' with Channel 4 showing the same film two hours later. :D
February 26, 201213 yr can the BBC get someone current to ESC for ONCE??! It wouldn't be the BBC if they actually gave a shit.
February 26, 201213 yr The news that it's not Atomic Kitten THRILLS ME. They were a genuinely lacklustre girlband with limited vocals and average songs (except 'Whole Again' of course), successful only because girlbands were the 'in thing' at the time. I don't hold out hope for a better choice to be made but at least there is at least some chance we'll do fairly with Atomic Kitten out of the running.
February 28, 201213 yr Author Digital Spy Forums are reporting that someone who claims to know who the representative for the UK is may have accidentally confirmed it is Meat Loaf, before removing the tweets. It'd certain fit the surprise and ancient descriptions we've had so far! Obviously 99.9% unrealistic, but you never know with the BBC!
February 28, 201213 yr I will actually emigrate if we are being represented by THAT. I would honestly rather have Atomic Kitten ft. John Barrowman :manson: Edited February 28, 201213 yr by Liаm
February 28, 201213 yr Meat Loaf has been pretty awesome in the past, but his recent songs have been so mediocre. Paradise By The Dashboard Light will forever be an epic track though!
February 28, 201213 yr I will actually emigrate if we are being represented by THAT. I would honestly rather have Atomic Kitten ft. John Barrowman :manson: With The Hoff doing the backing vocals.
February 28, 201213 yr Oh my lord  Actually I did have a lot of love for his cover of It's All Coming Back To Me Now, mainly thanks to Marion Raven though, if he could get her on board for another duet I'd be for it. I'd actually far prefer him to John Barrowman if I'm being brutally honest, it would be strangely intriguing to see him in the contest.
February 28, 201213 yr Rumours are saying that we're entering someone 75 or over. But then, rumours have said everyone from Adele to Barrowman by now.
