November 13, 201113 yr Up to #19 now as well as #70, #532, #804 :) Not terrible but verging on. Come on Sats, promotion the entire week please :D
November 13, 201113 yr wow. so they have officially lost their crown as one of the big bands in the country. now i really am dreading next week. at least in the past the singles used to have decent entries even if they dropped like a stone afterwards
November 13, 201113 yr I can see them missing the top 10, I am disappointed as this is ending their streak. It's really not been the best campaign, damn radio stations. However am I the only one that can see this actually increasing on airplay instead of decreasing as it's a beautiful ballad perfect for this weather. 10. Lmfao - Sexy & I Know It 42% 19. The Saturdays - My Heart Takes Over 21.6% 14th November – Daybreak – ITV1 – from 6.00am 18th November – Loose Women – ITV1 – 12.30pm 18th November – Sam & Mark’s Big Friday Windup – CBBC – 6.00pm 18th November – Children In Need – BBC1 – After 1035pm 19th November – Album Chart Show Special – Channel 4 – 11.20am – 19th Novemeber - Xtra Factor. Everything seems later on in the week though, I think they will expect a debut this week of around #13. They should be promoting Tuesday,Wednesday & Thursday as well in order to make sure they can somehow go top 10, anything as stupid as This Morning, Lorraine, Alan Titermarsh, Live Lounge. Disappointed there's no strictly though. I am disappointed they couldn't be booked to perform on Children In Need rocks on Thursday as well like a lot of other artists and the fact they are performing on Children In Need after half 10 will not have as much impact as it would performing from 8-10.30pm. I hope they perform a melody of Notorious/All Fired Up/ My Heart Takes Over on Children In Need.
November 14, 201113 yr I don't necessarily think they've lost their 'crown', I think perhaps people outside the core fanbase might not be that aware they've a new single out, radio airplay has been poor, and perhaps people can't take to the song for some reason. I'm not sure. It's weird because usually their fanbase gets them into the top 10 no problem, so it must just be a massively competitive release week and trying to break into the top 20 is proving difficult. Either way though I'm dreading the album release now. But there always have to be some negativity/stress associated with a Sats release and this is it for MHTO! Nothing is ever straightforward with these five. :P Anyway, it's #17 on iTunes.. and the second version is now falling - it's #73 (was #64) now so I guess it'll only fall more so not helping much when combining the two versions. :( Just performed on Daybreak. Frankie wasn't there - Roch said something along the lines of they're resting her for the tour. One Direction #2 Flo Rida #10 The Sats #17 Daybreak is their only public promo until Friday.... unless they find last minute promo but I doubt there will be much going. :( Edited November 14, 201113 yr by Encore
November 14, 201113 yr If they want a shot at top 10 I think they should drop the price and fast. Whilst there's no guarantee it'd do much for it, but you've got David Guetta and Usher's track 'Without You' that got reduced to 59p and it shot up to the top 3/4 on iTunes this week. Plus it helped Notorious rise back into the top 20 when it was falling at one point too. At least it's slowly rising. I'll be SO frustrated/gutted/sad if this charts at #11 of all places. Also, with the poor airplay (like, literally no airplay bar Radio 1) - how do the girls get that back? :( Edited November 14, 201113 yr by Encore
November 14, 201113 yr Also, with the poor airplay (like, literally no airplay bar Radio 1) - how do the girls get that back? :( It's a difficult situation. Radio won't play them until they become really relevant and popular again, and they can't become relevant and popular unless they get airplay. Maybe we can hope for a "long running top 20 hit"? The album release next week should keep this single stable at least for a week before it inevitably drops.

They're kinda stuck in limbo with radio at the mo, and this was even with a radio tour. iTunes update: One Direction #2 Flo Rida #8 The Saturdays #16 (and #75)
November 14, 201113 yr Daybreak performance WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT, VANESSA???? (at 2:37) this is what the other three should've shouted her after the performance. And I hope they did. This girl is so frustrating. Edited November 14, 201113 yr by The47thbelmon
November 14, 201113 yr If only this was sitting around 11-12 by now, they'd probably climb into the top 10 by this evening and then potentially get the top 10 exposure from the iTunes store homepage boost. Ah well.
November 14, 201113 yr One Direction #2 Flo Rida #5 - looks like the top 10 exposure has paid off for him. I didn't even know he had a song out, and it's had next to no airplay! The Saturdays #16 (and #76) Anyway, promo... nothing scheduled until Friday. 1st November - Oxford Street Xmas Lights 6th November - Alan Carr - Channel 4 - 10.00pm 14th November - Daybreak - ITV1 - from 6.00am 18th November - Loose Women - ITV1 - from 12.30pm 18th November – Sam & Mark’s Big Friday Windup – CBBC – 6.00pm 18th November – Children In Need – BBC1 – Program starts at 7.00pm, the girls are listed to be on after 10.35pm (at time of writing) 19th November – Album Chart Show Special – Channel 4 – 11.20am – set to perform songs from the new album 20th November - The Xtra Factor - ITV2 - 9.00pm Xtra Factor ratings slumped from 1.1m to 479k last night. Guess it's better than nothing though. Edited November 14, 201113 yr by Encore
November 14, 201113 yr I know this sounds childsidh but all this Frankie saga is reminding me of Geri-Lottery-Gate... :( This has got to be the worst year the sats have ever had!
November 14, 201113 yr I know this sounds childsidh but all this Frankie saga is reminding me of Geri-Lottery-Gate... :( This has got to be the worst year the sats have ever had! I remember in one of the first flips of this year, Frankie said something along the lines of 2011 being the year of The Sats. If only. :( Love the girls but there's never much to celebrate or shout off the rootops being a Sats fan, as soon as you think it's safe to start getting comfortable and properly enjoying their success, something comes along and mucks it all up haha. Like waiting for a bus that never comes. Or as Mollie said on What Goes On Tour, 'always a bridesmaid, never a bride'! They've had good moments too though and they've achieved a fair bit even if there have been not so good moments. The arena tour will be great and it'll be nice to watch them be thrilled they're playing arenas on stage. Edited November 14, 201113 yr by Encore
November 14, 201113 yr Aside from that one bum note by Vanessa that was actually a really strong performance. They look great as a four piece too. I wish they would ditch Frankie, she's useless.
November 14, 201113 yr #14 on iTunes now. Come on girls!! I am hoping it is going to keep rising on itunes, and with the physical sales maybe it will get to #10 by Sunday...
November 14, 201113 yr #13 now. This is all ver reminiscent of Higher with it just about scraping top 10 for a week. I hope this makes it, I'm still fairly confident it will.
