All Fired Up at least you can dance to in clubs and has a huge chorus. Plus the video is much better than Freedom.

I like the Sugababes, I honestly wish they'd have a success but releasing Freedom as a lead single is just a joke. It's too slow to dance to (so won't get played in clubs), has no proper hook, the chorus is really slow and a non-event. The video is so dark and doesn't go anywhere and I can't imagine it's a song that would work well live.

It's like Get Sexy part 2.

Oh I completely agree with you about the video, it's awful! It's perhaps not the best choice for lead single (although we obviously haven't heard any of the other songs from the album) but I like how it's not a full on club-banger because that would've made them even more of a joke imo.

Did Maroon 5's "Moves Like Jagger" get much airplay on Radio 1? It was never in their A/B/C List so it seems like that too got snubbed. Didn't seem to stop it sitting in the Top 3 for the past few weeks though! So I say "never say never" with Sugababes...
But Moves Like Jagger is number one on the airplay chart so receiving tonnes of airplay elsewhere, as well as being top 10 on video play. Sugababes are no where near the top 40 on either...

I'll be optimistic and say top-20. I really like the song but I can see where many of you are coming when say that it's average. Production-wise it doesn't have SOMETHING that could up their game.

And the promotion of this song is awful, we know it for three months already! One of the main reasons of 'Sweet 7' flop was infinite holding back of it, now it's the same situation.

Hopefully with 'Hard' they will do everything right and hopefully return the Radio 1 / Capital favour.

This is heading for something like #26 now, similar to Sophie Ellis-Bextor's 'Bittersweet' and Nadine's 'Insatiable' as it's in roughly the same position.

The song itself is reasonably good, but you can practically feel the desperation coming from it.

top 10 -_- Next weeks with a terrible chart run
