Oh I know, I'm not suggesting it's like 10k off from passing the 200k mark  It could be as little as 2k like you said.

I previously gave an explanation as to why Vidcapper is 2k out. Let's break it down:

4th December 2011 184,979 [Official Total]

11th December 2011 188,000 [Vidcapper's Estimate]

- Increasing from 185k to 188k in this week would have meant 3,000 sales at #184. This isn't possible, and is the main indication that Vidcapper had an over-estimated total. It wouldn't have been much higher than 1k at that position in that week. Therefore a more likely estimate at this stage would have been 186,000.

18th December 2011 189,500 [Vidcapper's Estimate]

- It climbed to #166, with a predicted 1,500 sales. 1.5k for #166 makes complete sense. Take the erroneous 2k sales off from the week before. More likely total: 187,500.

25th December 2011 192,500 [Vidcapper's Estimate]

- At #108, sales of 3k - again, makes sense. Take the erroneous 2k sales off. More likely total: 190,500.

1st January 2012 200,500 [Vidcapper's Estimate]

- At #75, with 7,999 sales. Take the erroneous 2k sales off. More likely total: 198,500.

At the end of the day Vidcapper's estimates are just that - estimates. They can sometimes be a bit out when overall sales information is thin on the ground, and therefore he has to make assumptions with what the sales brackets are at different levels of the chart. Obviously being 2k out isn't horribly out and his overall estimates are extremely good - but in this case he did give them 2k too many sales at some point in the chart run.

Regardless it will most definitely be over 200,000 sales within the next week :) So for that :w00t:
This has four versions in the top 1000 right now. Highest is at #135 I think, so hopefully it sneaks another week top 100 if you take out all the multiple versions of other songs.

To be honest, I think they have passed 200,000 sales this week . I am delighted although from opening first week sales I was expecting around 400,000+ 3-4-15 (Goes to show you how effective the top 10 effect is) Arguably had it not been for the xFactor it could have sold a lot more!

Why Do The Saturdays always release during Itv's massive shows?

Notorious - Britians Got Talent

All Fired Up - Red Or Black

My Heart Takes Over - X Factor

They might get a slot on Dancing On Ice because Simon Cowell is not on it though!

Should remain top 90 in the charts this week though

138. The Saturdays - All Fired Up

338. The Saturdays - All Fired Up

478. The Saturdays - All Fired Up

746. The Saturdays - All Fired Up

Why dont people just purchase the 59p one?

It hasn't quite passed 200,000 yet. It should do for the forthcoming chart!

I wish people would stop pinning the blame on prime time TV shows for the failure of The Sats singles. The shows didn't want them! Not alot you can do about that.
I find AFU's sales and chart run very strange. It seemed like it was going to be *the* big hit we've all been waiting for and suddenly it just plummeted out of the charts in a matter of a weeks, but it's yet to leave the top 1000 and always has multiple versions on iTunes.
If the saturdays didn't release during BGT and The X Factor wouldn't that write off 6months of the year?
It's most likely passed 200,000 this week, surprised it climbed in the charts as it dropped fast on iTunes.
I can safely say that I didn't expect that! That's fantastic! AFU deserved longer in the Top 40 though. That won't happen now. :P ;)

Looks like all The Saturdays wanted to do wass pass 200,000 with All Fired Up as they have just put the price back up to 99p, most likely ending it's stay in the top 100 this week.

213. The Saturdays - All Fired Up

324. The Saturdays - All Fired Up

446. The Saturdays - All Fired Up

694. The Saturdays - All Fired Up

Who knows, that actually might be enough for top 100, It's looking good actually. Although all should start dropping throughout the week!

Used on the intro for Let's Dance For Comic Relief today! It has subsequently risen to #921 on iTunes! Good to see it back in the chart, albeit low down!
