I think they're having a few problems with pacing in the second series. It's still very good, and I really enjoyed this episode, but I do feel they need to step it up a gear now. Teasing Merle was just not right - he needs to back full-time.

And they really need to find Sophia now. I can't see her being alone when they find her, no way. I loved the ending of the episode though. Looks like Hershel really is not as kind as it was lead to be believed.

I agree. This season seems like it's spinning out stories which should be resolved within at least a couple of episodes. Things like them not getting the respirator in the episode when they decided they need one, things like that feel like they should be resolved within one episode.

I've just downloaded episode 5. Hopefully there's some good zombie action which, other than the walker in the well, seems to have been pretty tame this season.

Caught up, finally.

ME. WANTS. MOAR. ZOMBIES. Season 1 was so good in terms of amazing zombie action. Hopefully, since this season is 13-episodes long, they are leaving more juicy stuff towards the end.

MAJOR SPOILER:

HOLY MACKEREL! :o

Is she in that barn with the others?!

I'd guess so. Probably be why they leave the barn. She really had to be with someone or a zombie.

[Eagerly awaits Chris' inevitable rant about the TV series deviating from the comics :D

Sophia's one of the few characters who has survived to date in the comics is she not?]

Yes, she has survived, as well as Rick, Carl, Glenn and Maggie. Lori and the baby have died.

Sticking to comics, there wouldn't be any room for shock moments and stuff. So I'd say it's interesting to see the show telling another story.

No need to spoiler-tag that, lol. I don't want them to tell an entirely different story though, I'd like some similarities.

The last episode was brilliant. It had everything.

I wonder if Shane is going ton die next week? There's the mid-season finale. Him getting jiggy with Andrea, Dale confronting him and then Shane going loopy, and now Rick knows about the affair. I don't think things are looking for for Shane.

Finding Sophia as a zombie in the barn is going to send them all to boiling point.

Next episodes is going to be incredible, all I can say.

I WANT MORE T-DAWG

1

But I agree. The last episode was so beautiful. Lots of zombie action, but so much character devlopment. I reall do think

Shane's

time is up. Teaching

Carl how to shoot a gun, sealed it for me.

AND there has got to be a huge cliffhanger for the hitaus, it's only natural!

You will have more T-DAWG when he (hopefully) has his death scene. He's BORING. But I think it won't happen at least until they encorporate another token black guy into the show

I don't want a hiatus

He's not been given much to do. I'd be surprised if they killed him off just yet. I just hope they don't kill Shane off yet, because he is such an awesome character. I'm shocked at how much I've grown to like his character this season, as I really didn't like him originally. T-Dawg just kicks ass though.

Shane is a great character for a TV show but I dislike him. And I hope they don't kill him off just yet because there have to be two alpha-males in a team to make it more exciting and interesting, if that makes sense. Either that or I hope

Sophia bites him therefore killing Shane off. :D

I really need to get around to watching this. Andrew Lincoln just DEFINES weird crush.
I think Shane does some despicable things but for some reason, I find him quite likeable as a character. I think he has a lot of redeeming factors which is why I don't think they'd kill him off just yet.
