January 28, 201213 yr Yep. The 3rd single isn't even getting a release til March, it's pretty damn obvious he'll be performing HSAB anyway as it's nominated for best single! Olly had more of a chance of winning best male as he won that at the BT Digital awards and the 4music video awards against stiff competition. Plus One Direction fans are sad beyond belief and are voting in shifts or something for WMYB judging by twitter trends. Nevermind, it's only the zero credibility Brits. I see Olly is doing Let's dance for Sport relief with Scott Mills. He must have a good chance of winning that judging by the no marks he's up against. Also he has a 3 part tv show based around his upcoming tour... His profile is only gonna get bigger this year, with Xtra Factor and all the panel shows as well, he's something of a tv personality.
January 28, 201213 yr I think Rizzle Kicks said the other day they been asked to do the single at the Brits so i'm sure it will be HSAB
January 29, 201213 yr Its a shame the One Direction fans have set their sights on the best single award. I actually think Olly`s single is much better.
February 1, 201213 yr Oh my goodness released 1st of April. I wonder if he's gonna get a new album out this year? I doubt he's gonna follow his album release pattern with his next effort...
February 2, 201213 yr Oh my goodness released 1st of April. I wonder if he's gonna get a new album out this year? I doubt he's gonna follow his album release pattern with his next effort... When he spoke to Heatworld last week he said there's been discussions about the next album: Yeah, we’re in discussions, I’ve said that we’ve got another single coming off of the second album. I don’t like the whole ‘rushing albums out’ all the time, but obviously I understand the industry has changed now, it’s not like it used to be years ago. I still think that although I’ve been around for two years and I’ve had two albums out, I still feel I’m fresh and I’m new and I still think I’ve got a lot of people to prove to at the moment. I also think I have a lot more to give and we have spoken about doing a third album this year and I’d love to do that but there’s no panic. I’d rather do it and do it right and have the singles and have a really good album than just rush an album out. We’ll play it by ear anyway, we’ll see what happens and fingers crossed I’d love again to have another big hit this year, or another two hits again this year, that’d be nice. SOURCE: http://www.heatworld.com/Celeb-News/2012/0...with-Olly-Murs/ Sounds like a smart plan! And in other news so happy 'Oh My Goodness' is up next as a single, it's one of my favourites on the album - and also it's good that the release has been put back until 1st April. Radio's still playing 'Dance With Me Tonight' and in some cases 'Heart Skips A Beat' a lot so by the time he comes off the tour it'll give that song a chance to build in airplay and have better promotion and hopefully another top 10 hit from this album. And it's a good song to see in spring/summer with! In other news the opening of his tour in Cardiff was last night...I'm at Wembley Arena date next weekend, front row too, so excited :D
February 3, 201213 yr Olly Murs has just leapt straight in the German Top 100 at #3 with Heart Skips A Beat. This is the highest anyone X-Factor non-winner has charted anywhere in mainland Europe. The only other X-Factor non-winners to chart are Jedward (with that Eurovision crap) and Cher Lloyd with Swagger Jagger which peaked at #43 in Belgium (Flanders) chart.
February 3, 201213 yr There is an Olly thread (and a German chart thread) already. Take your pick :P Still, YAY :w00t:

One Direction charted top 10 in Belgium and top 20 in Finland. Did you even make some research before assuming this ? And why would we focus on "Europe" only, OD got a top 2 smash in New Zealand :) Anyway, Olly Murs I don't like. :arrr: Edited February 3, 201213 yr by Hayzayy
February 3, 201213 yr There is an Olly thread (and a German chart thread) already. Take your pick :P Still, YAY :w00t: Merged into the Olly thread. I hope the German chart thread will survive this neglect. Interesting, would have never expected him to do well over there.
February 3, 201213 yr Good to see him do well in germany as its a big market, id love to see olly build up some more success outside the UK and Ireland.

February 3, 201213 yr Id rather him concentrate on europe over America, some artists make the mistake of trying to crack america and spend alot of time there and then when they comeback to europe they have been forgotten about and thats a mistake i would hate to see him make.

Delta Goodrem anyone? Craig David anyone?!
February 3, 201213 yr I don't reckon Olly will be heading off to US anytime soon...Europe and Australia as discussed above are in the pipeline - 'In Case You Didn't Know' will be released in Germany in March and then Australia and New Zealand in April so Olly'll be doing a bit of promo out there after he's finished up promo for 'Oh My Goodness' over here!
February 16, 201213 yr There's a small 20 second teaser clip of the video over on his VEVO page today - the full video premieres next Friday! He appears to be running quite a bit - don't know what for though! Looks like it'll be a good video! p7V0bYHVzdw A few behind the scenes pics as well - there's more over at the Facebook fanpage I run for the single: And one other thing - I need to say how BRILLIANT his tour is! Saw it last week at Wembley, best show I've ever seen at the Arena bar none, he's totally stepped it up from the last tour! If you can get tickets for any of the remaining dates or one of the summer shows then do it, he's fantastic live, a real entertainer! The James Brown medley was particularly brilliant!
February 17, 201213 yr If oh my goodness can reach the top 10 and do reasonably well in terms of sales it will hopefully boost the album, triple platnum would be a great achievement this time round but if not the album has done very well for him with plenty of legs left in it yet.
