Number 2, with Professor Green/Emeli Sande at number 1.
I think it could be close between Labrinth/Tinie and Pro Green/Emeli. Personally I want Labrinth to be #1 but it seems like Pro Green is a more likely #1, which is odd since he seemed to be a bit past getting hits but 'Read All About It' is shaping up to be his biggest :o
Bound to be #1, given the UK's (to me) inexplicable love of r*p.

In that case, Professor Green would be number one as that song has more rapping than Earthquake

As you've probably guessed, I draw no distinction between 4 seconds of rapping, and 4 minutes. ;)

Maybe they'll get to perform on X Factor, which means it'll probably be #1.

Maybe I can launch a complaint, in revenge for all the prudes who complained about Rihanna & Christina's performances last year.

A hint is typically songs with a rapper as their lead artist (Read All About It) have more rapping in them than songs which have only a featured rapper (Earthquake) ;)

So what happens when they are both rappers? :P

That would fit into the former category.

You do realise only ten of the twenty four #1s we've had this year have rapping in them, and only ONE of these you could describe as rap-led (ie. not a dance song or having a rapper featured on one verse).

That's 12 too many, from my pov. ;)

So... you think there should be -2 #1s this year with rapping in?

That's because you're a racist ;)

Ah, but I hate rap by white artists, too... ;)

Sorry, didn't realise you were the only one who was allowed completely illogical arguments.
