Frances got off to a HORRIBLE start with that pancake of an opening note and never recovered. So far she hasn't managed a good vocal since the battle rounds. Nice girl with a fun personality but she needs to go.

 

Matt and Sueleen are so odd. They're not marketable at all but there's something about Sueleen, I can't take my eyes off her. She's pretty fabulous. I wish she was a solo act.

 

Leanne's vocal was great but I'm so sick of this show's habit of destroying the melodies of the songs. I Put A Spell On You was not even recognisable.

 

And to boot the judges are all SO boring at this stage. Zzzzz.

 

Matt and Sueleen are painful to watch/listen to. They're obviously goners tomorrow, but why they even got through the auditions is beyond me.

Not too keen on Joelle's performance/song choice. I like that she sang it differently to Kelly Clarkson, but I thought she sounded a bit husky at times. I still preferred it to most of what we've seen tonight anyway.

I think I would have preferred Joelle to sing 'I Surrender', WDKYMYS is just too generic to put your own stamp on the song.

Ugh, I'm sure she'll be massively overhyped again, despite how awful that was. The end was just shouting..

I thought she really over sang that song not as good as her first performance.

I liked the slowed-down version of "Next to Me" that she began with, but once it kicked in, Ruth's vocally went majorly downhill! I've still not seen anything majorly "wow!" from her yet.

I loved that performance from Tyler. He's definitely the one of the strongest singers in the competition. I liked his alternation between falsetto and bass. Really hoping he gets through (which I think is a high possibility anyway).

Tyler was really good :D Ruth Brown however is so overhyped :manson: the shouting really puts me off her. Matt and Suleen were awful but at least they were singing. Leanne was OK but nothing special. Joelle was good but her voice wasn't that great for me. Frances was much better than last time. Adam's performance was very good, this suits him much more than that Foo Fighters song he did last time. More of this from him please.

First decent performance from Adam, in my opinion. It was carcrash TV last week with the band, but him with just an acoustic guitar was really nice.

Jaz is ridiculously overrated, which always makes it hard for me to enjoy his performances. I liked his vocals, but the second song was so uninspired.

Incredibly 'ehh' in general this week, Tyler and Frances were the only ones I really liked. Tyler is my clear favourite out of this lot and my 2nd favourite overall behind Max, another great performance from him but not as good as his 'Higher Love'. Frances was really good too. Joelle was good which surprised me because I hated the sound of her voice last time, the annoying tone of it didn't come across today at all! Jaz was very disappointing, it was still quite good but nowhere near as good as he normally is. Matt & Sueleen were decent, Leanne and Adam were okay but not very interesting and Ruth was just horrendous, ridiculously oversung if you can even call that 'singing', it was closer to plain shouting for most of it and when she was singing she sounded awful. I could appreciate her last performance was quite good as much as I didn't personally like it but that had no redeeming features at all. Ergh.

I didn't think anybody tonight was particularly incredible. Tyler was the best, but wasn't as good as last week. Joelle was very good aswell, lost it a little towards the end, but she surprised me how good she was. Adam was much better than last week, and has a very nice voice when he's on his game. Jaz was 'decent' again, but his style is never gonna be amazing to me. Matt & Sueleen do have decent voices, they always do, but don't leave me that interested. Leanne was vocally superb, but she messed around with the song so much that I really didn't like it. Frances sounded awful, and Ruth just shouted her way through the whole song, and the whole NECKDANECKDANECKDA (awful diction, should be next to, or just not shouted repeatedly at all).

What an awful live show...

I must admit Tyler was the best of all the performances, I be happy if he wins at the end of the day, I would definitely buy his album.
