November 28, 201113 yr Oh! For some reason I recalled it being announced in running order last year, but I've probably just fudged my memories there. No matter!
November 29, 201113 yr I was going to correct you last week when you said Loreen had the opening spot, but it was Thursday by then and I thought "don't be silly Peter, he'll have realised by now." :P
December 12, 201113 yr Author Off topic but POOR CHARLOTTE and Måns. :( EEtJRtlFTHU NvXcOJPRISQ It's the guy who is NOTORIOUS for making other people's songs into his 'own'. Lazy old fuck. Edited December 12, 201113 yr by Conderella
December 12, 201113 yr Who is this? And for what purpose has he translated these modern classics into Russian? The latter does deserve to be heard by a wider audience though, still holding out hope for the 'One Direction does Melodifestivalen' concept album for their second LP. Baby Goodbye and Hope & Glory are obviously the first two singles.
December 12, 201113 yr Author Filipp Kirkorov, perhaps you heard of him? Alexander Rybak was praised by him on Eurovision, and Jerick (iirc) posted an article about it or something. For his shows! I wouldn't even be surprised if he claims it's his own songs (because hardly 2% of Russian population ever heard Cara Mia or Måns for that matter and everyone but die-hard ESC fans already forgot Hero  ), he's covered so many classics. There have been a few scandals involving plagiarism too. edit: he was our entrant in Eurovision 1995. Even I forgot about that at first  Edited December 14, 201113 yr by gooddelta
December 14, 201113 yr Fair enough, I'm not fully versed on ESC 1995 so didn't remember that/him! I estimate that 0.000000002% of the UK population will have heard Cara Mia at most! Although you do know that the song he covered there is Hope & Glory and not Cara Mia don't you? :o By the way, I didn't edit any of your post as it says there, my computer went haywire when I tried to reply, I've been having trouble with it all evening :/

I guess 2% is indeed too many because I don't think half of the population even heard of Sweden.
December 15, 201113 yr  Of course we've heard of Sweden, it's where ABBA, meatballs and naked blondes in saunas come from :kink:

January 9, 201213 yr Author Yet ANOTHER change. During Semifinals votes for the 5 songs that advance to the second round won't be nulled! AT LAST! :drama:
January 9, 201213 yr Yet ANOTHER change. During Semifinals votes for the 5 songs that advance to the second round won't be nulled! AT LAST! :drama: Oh good! I'm a bit surprised though, as I had assumed that was always the case, as with X Factor finals etc.
January 9, 201213 yr Think people are placing a bit TOO MUCH power on the running order. Brolle qualified to straight to Globen, and he was 1st in the running order. Swingfly was 2nd in the running order, he went straight to Globen aswell..
