February 19, 201213 yr To be fair, Sean doesn't look like a creepy uncle who is grooming his niece (Sara). I can understand the outrage of that getting to the final, after all take out the creepy perve and it's a solid Schlagertastic Dance Anthem. I however am more outraged at the cunt getting though to AC over Mattias.
February 19, 201213 yr I guess it did happen here with Scooch, because we had a better Eurovision option in Cyndi. But Josh/Andy's only competition was the same song by even worse singers or an absolutely hopeless bunch that would have all done as badly as Even If at Eurovision (Revelations' It's You excepted but it didn't even make the final three so it's not like many people cared about it :(). I suppose that the MF final is seen as this prestigious event in Sweden and that people think that Mirakel will make a mockery of it. Had it got to the final in place of two absoutely sensational songs, and potential Eurovision winners then I could see their point, but it's not like Andreas or Youngblood massively deserved to be in the final any moreso than Mirakel! Youngblood is Kempe's weakest song in a while and whilst I love Love Light, it's not as if Andreas has been deprived of MF final appearances in the past! I'm expecting at least one if not both of them to make it out of Andra Chansen anyway  I think they're more outraged that Mattias didn't get to andra chansen at least rather than either Andreas or Youngblood getting to the final! The upside of this is that the damage to Mattias's career won't be too much. I imagine he'll get a fair bit of goodwill from the public out of this...
February 19, 201213 yr It was OUTSTANDING. If you enter that into BJSC it would get my 12 (possibly) Even though I didn't particularly understand it, I found it funny anyway. Like with the buffering thing last week. Edited February 19, 201213 yr by Martyn
February 19, 201213 yr Forgive my ignorance/forgetfullness but WHO IS THAT? *.* Mattias is one of them I can see.
February 19, 201213 yr Who be the other guy? I think it is Danny's "hair dresser" Or someone who looks like him anyway. That man that went through is such a frightful shade of orange. When it was them Vs Mattias even though I knew what was going to happen, I was still devastated all over again when it did happen.
February 19, 201213 yr Heat 4 preview. I think I PROLAPSED reading the description for Lisa Miskovsky! *.* 1. Charlotte Perrelli - 'The Girl' Text och Musik - Alexander Johnsson and Fredrik Kempe Well, isn't this a turn-up for the books? Charlotte is a Melodifestivalen veteran, no doubt about it. She first appeared back in 1999 with the now infamous 'Tusen och en natt', which went on to win Melodifestivalen and later stormed to victory in Jerusalem with the freshly-translated 'Take Me To Your Heaven'. After her victory she released a number of studio albums in Sweden and enjoyed moderate success with all of them. She became a TV regular and featured on countless music-related shows. Nine years later, Charlotte returned to Melodifestivalen. We'd seen the likes of Amy Diamond, Sanna Nielsen and BWO head straight to Globen, but the buzz was around Charlotte's imminent comeback performance. In Karlskrona, Charlotte debuted 'Hero' and won her respective heat. She then went on to win Melodifestivalen 2008 (not without stiff competition from the televote winner, Sanna Nielsen) and headed to Belgrade. It was here where things went royally tits up, Charlotte was saved by the juries and narrowly missed crashing and burning. She battled on to the Final, but only managed 18th place by the end of the evening. 4 years on, she's back and with what she believes is a song better than 'Hero'. She faces some stiff competition here, will she manage to make it straight to the Final for a third time? Let's wait and see. 2. OPA! - 'Allting blir bra igen' Text och Musik - Michael Sideridis This sextet band are pioneers of Greek folk music. They're relatively new on the scene, having released only one single before this one. They claim they've slaved over this entry for a few years, and only now do they feel it's perfect. They'll be releasing their debut album to coincide with Eurovision, and they're hoping the Swedish public will get behind them and give them a chance. 3. Dynazty - 'Land Of Broken Dreams' Text och Musik - Thomas G:son and Thomas Johansson Flying the flag for hard-rock, this five-piece are no strangers to the Melodifestivalen stage. We last saw them performing Anna Bergandahl's 2010 winning song, 'This Is My Life' during the interval of Melodifestivalen 2011. They've released two studio albums prior to this year's competition, and have built themselves a cult following all over the world. Thomas G:son has an unblemished record so far this year, with both of his entries qualifying in some capacity. This kind of 80's hair metal always strikes a chord with the Swedish public, will it do so again this year? 4. Lotta Engberg och Christer Sjörgen - 'Don't Let Me Down' Text och Musik - Lasse Holm and Lars 'Dille' Diedricson These two are two of Sweden's most-respected and well-liked stars. Lotta has previous Melodifestivalen form, in the shape of 'Fyra bugg & en Coca Cola' which won Melodifestivalen back in 1987. She's participated in the contest a number of times, and is probably more well-known for her TV work now, having hosted 'Bingolotto' for just over 3 years. Christer has only participated in the contest on one previous occasion, with the notorious 'I Love Europe'. He made it to the Final back in 2008, but ended up in 9th place. Their song is written by two men, one was at the helm of 'Främling' and the other behind the aforementioned 'Tusen och en natt'. The pair have described this as "your typical Schlager ballad" and have high hopes for it's success. 5. Hanna Lindblad - 'Goosebumps' Text och Musik - Hanna Lindblad, Linda Sundblad and Tony Nilsson Hanna's making her MF return after a disappointing result in 2010 with the spunky 'Manipulated'. She was commended for her vibrant and modern routine and many called for her return with a slightly better song. Since then she's toured Sweden, doing her day job as a performer in a number of musical theatre productions, but she feels she's got some beef with those who didn't allow her to proceed last time round. So, she's got together with Linda Sundblad and Tony Nilsson and is hoping to follow on in the success of David Lindgren, who also fronts a Nillson co-write. She's described the song as "80's inspired pop, with bundles of energy, oozing personality and a lot of heart". 6. Axel Algmark - 'Kyss mig' Text och Musik - Axel Algmark, Mattias Frändå and Jonathan Magnussen This young chap is very much the amateur musician in a sea of schlager stars. He's only at the start of his musical journey, having won a number of low-key talent competitions across Sweden. He's earned himself a little bit of radio play, by playing demos and sessions on a couple of radio stations across the nation. He's aware that he may well be a small fish in a very small pond, but he promises that Sweden can expect "one big party" when he takes to the stage on Saturday evening. 7. Lisa Miskovsky - 'Why Start A Fire' Text och Musik - Lisa Miskovsky, Aleksander With, Bernt Rune Stray and Berent Philip Moe Lisa is a critically acclaimed singer-songwriter and has established herself firmly at the heart of Sweden's music scene. She's won Grammy's and had one of her songs used as the theme tune to high-profile video game 'Mirror's Edge'. She says she's "always been intrigued" by the Eurovision Song Contest and wants to experience it for herself. The song is inspired by the more melodic sides to Prince and Kate Bush, and came about after Lisa listened to Alicia Key's 'Try Sleeping With A Broke Heart'. She describes the song as "a melodic song that packs a real punch musically and lyrically". 8. Danny Saucedo - 'Amazing' Text och Musik - Danny Saucedo, Peter Boström and Figge Boström We were first informed Danny was no longer 'In The Club' and would 'Shout It Loud' this year, however, he believed David Lindgren's 'Shout It Loud' wasn't "strong enough" and wouldn't take him all the way to Baku. So, he reverted back to his collection and plumped for 'Amazing', a song he describes as "very similar to 'In The Club' but with much wider appeal." He released an album after last year's contest, but after 'In The Club's success, second single 'Tonight' failed to chart. His fellow group member Mattias failed to connect with the public last week, so Danny is hoping they'll pick up the phone and vote for him, particularly as it's his birthday next Saturday. Danny's performing in the infamous and often suspicious 32nd spot, a spot in which many of Melodifestivalen's winners have performed. He's had a bronze and a silver medal, will this year see him take gold? Also, the credits for that Hanna Lindblad track are FLAWLESS (also for the Lotta/Christer track, but that's going nowhere)! This heat's going to be tremendous, I can feel it...
February 19, 201213 yr You could at least do you OWN write up Tirren. I'm only really interested in dear old Charlotte in this heat though, at least on paper definitely the least interesting of the 4 for me.

February 19, 201213 yr It's information. Stop being a Jark-esque 'the two websites must stay forever apart!' wanker, because I can see no reason as to why you'd object to me passing on a good write-up. You might as well say 'OH YOU SHOULD DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH AND WRITE YOUR OWN' if someone quotes an article :manson:
February 19, 201213 yr Will be highly embarrassing for Danny if he doesn't beat David in the final, which he'll inevitably pass to without too much resistance. The write up for Lisa's song does indeed sound amazing! And some fantastic songwriters in here this week! Charlotte believes she has a better song than Hero? Intriguing, I bet its a letdown... Not more 80s hair rock though, why!?! :( It's G:Son though, so I'll give try to keep an open mind.

I just think you should CREDIT your SOURCES.
February 19, 201213 yr I am gutted I shall be in Brighton and miss this Heat, oh well I shall watch it on SVT play when I get home. I really hope that my future husband Danny Saucedo storms this!
February 20, 201213 yr Oh I'm not suggesting the 2 should remian mutually exclusive at all, that'd be stupid. I just think you should CREDIT your SOURCES. It was ORIGINALLY WRITTEN BY SAMUEL OFF MOOPY and NOT ME, if it being in a quote box didn't make the latter bit obvious and if the former bit means ANYTHING to anyone in here (which it almost certainly doesn't, and if it did then you'd ALREADY KNOW). Pleased now? I've just remembered that I'm in Manchester for a Labour Students conference when this heat is on. ARGH. LUCKILY I know one or two Melodiloons also going (such events are dominated by the gays, you see) so hopefully I can watch somehow.
