Rhythmix - I'm Like A Bird

 

The RnB twist to the backing track is interesting. However, I'm not entirely sold on their vocals. They seem a bit better than last week but isn't the best performance of the night so far.

Not as good as last week but still amzing. I don't want to see them in the bottom 2 please.

It's like CHER LLOYD multiplied by 4 minus ANY identity whatsoever. And I'm living for it!

01 Rhythmix - You'll all probably think I've gone CUCKOO by doing this - but that was my favourite performance so far. I just loved it, such a feel good performance amongst all the ballads. And, it was sung really well. 8.5/10

02 Janet - Probably her weakest performance yet for me - but still my favourite performance so far. I just love how delicate every song she sings feels, really smooth and soft and lovely. Anyway, enough of me gushing. 8/10

03 Marcus - When he was on the ball, he was the best of the night, 9/10. However, there were quite a few points when he went a bit off key, and there were bits too deep for him. I still enjoyed what he did with it though. 8/10

04 Sami - Sat here with such a smile on my face, sure it's a bit copycat and karaoke, but the bottom line is - she can sing it, and she can hit the notes. There's people like Janet and Sophie with quirky voices, it's refreshing to see a normal voice, who can just.. sing. 7.5/10

05 Craig - A lot weaker than last week - only the last 45 seconds did him any justice. The first verse was pretty flat, but once he gets going, he is quite good. 7/10

06 Johnny - I actually think he sang quite well there... the bits I could hear throughout me and my mum screeching with laughter at the 'Blueberry' comment. 5.5/10

07 Nu Vibe - Whoever thought, let's have them sing with minimal instrumental at the start, was a good idea. It wasn't, it highlighted their flaws. You can tell they're five solo singers. Weak. 5/10

08 Frankie - I lost count of how many flat notes there were, I could count the notes he hit on one hand. 2/10

 

LOVING the backing tracks this year.

 

hmmm... they could be in the bottom 2 with No Vibes, I really can't see them going further

YES! YES! That was FAR better than last week. Properly getting Rhythmix now. Please go really far. One of the best performances tonight. They properly nailed it.

Rhythmix: There was something about that that I still really disliked. I don't know what it is. It was a substantial improvement over last week though.

Definitely my favourite performance of the night! (Getting so into this now)

Rhythmix - That was very fresh and fun....it would definitely be a crying shame if they left the contest tomorrow night. 8.5/10

You know, I actually went into this thinking I'd like to give a vote to Rhythmix out of pity....but now it would be for a completely different reason.

 

Although I'm not really that into voting at this early stage.....hmm. I think I'll pass and hope for the best.

Rhythmix was just ok for me. Almost nothing interesting.

Rhythmix were the best so far tonight! :o Really shocked me, love them so much .... really hope they do manage to break the girlband curse. I think Tulisa's doing a good job with their styling, song choices and they all seem very likeable too.

Rhythmix - I wasn't too keen on the backing track for it, and their harmonies still need some shapening but I thought despite the arrangement, it was a good song for them and some of the vocals were spot on, especially the blonde girl's. - 7.0/10.0

Rhythmix have the potential to be decent if they don't get voted out today. Knowing me though I'll probably start loving them after a performance everyone else hates :(
