Bold are the ones I have owned at some point.

Italics are those that I have at least one song off/parents own therefore I know reasonably well.

You're missing Leona's 'Spirit', which is on 3M now. There aren't actually many there that I know and like though, which is quite surprising.

That's really interesting. Hopefully this isn't too dissimilar to the real thing, which should be announced soon (wasn't it last announced 5 years ago?). Can't believe how high Adele is! :o

In general - if you're over 25, the fewer of these albums you own the better your taste in music.
In general - if you're over 25, the fewer of these albums you own the better your taste in music.

How's that ?

'21' should be in the top 10 here possibly by the end of the year and the top 5 at some point in 2012. I'm almost certain it'll get to at least #3 if not #2 on this list at some point in the future. Probably not #1 (2.5 million is a LOT to make up) but anything could happen. A deluxe edition could give it the extra push but she's said there won't be one.

I own the ones in bold, and have heard and liked the ones in italics.

I think number 4 at the highest. The other albums in the Top 5 will sell in the time it takes 21 to reach that point. After that it's a case of trickle sales.

ABBA Gold is the only one of the top 5 that still sells in any significant quantity any more. Queen's GH still re-enters on occasion but I don't expect Adele to catch them (at least any time soon anyway).

I suspect ABBA Gold will trickle ahead of The Beatles in a few years' time.

I own none of them.

Although if Leona Lewis' Spirit was included (which it should be I think), I'd own one of them. :kink:

The Total for 'ABBA Gold' is too low. By the end of 2010, it was on 4,890,000

UK Sales. (An OCC 'Contact' gave me that Total).

It has sold consistently all Year - since the 4,890,000 Sale. (Low 2011 Sales, but

consistent Sales).

Quite surprised thought it'd be a lot less

I have Come on Over, Brothers in Arms, Back to Bedlam and THE FAME!! (I really want to burn and destroy the last two though - especially 'The Crap'. And to be clear, I only have Back to Bedlam because it was a gift.).

I own all 40 of them on CD. :o

I'll remember that next time you complain about money issues.
