April 13, 201510 yr Omi's is going to be way more unlucky. I wouldn't say Jealous was unlucky, more unfortunate. Probably because it's already been charting for 16 weeks.

April 13, 201510 yr You are aware that 'Cheerleader' has been charting entirely on streams, and didn't get an actual release until now right?
April 13, 201510 yr New Order - Blue Monday was the biggest selling 12" single. There was no 7" release. What's that got to do with the thread?
April 13, 201510 yr I guess as mentioned earlier in the thread OMI could be considered an unlucky #2, if the tragic events of November 30th 2013 didn't happen then nothing would be standing in OMI's way right now. But on the other hand OMI or his record label have themselves to blame for not releasing earlier when the competition wasn't as stiff as it is now.

April 13, 201510 yr Took me a few seconds to get that too but that's the date of Paul Walker's tragic accident, of whom the song is based upon.
April 15, 201510 yr OMI - Cheerleader being one of the most unluckiest now for multiple reasons  including massive pre-orders and the unexpected release of Wiz's smash! :nocheer:
April 15, 201510 yr For me the unluckiest #2 has to be Question by Moody Blues from 1970 next also from 1970 is All Right Now by Free and Black Night by Deep Purple They certainly don't make great music like this anymore. It's not fair rubbish like Madonna gets into the Rock N Roll Hall Of Fame yet not great acts like the Moody's. Moody Blues - Question l2lIbp1XYpM Free - All Right Now mg2Nc178JIo Deep Purple - Black Night QHlODWd4GeM
May 17, 201510 yr Clean Bandit & Jess Glynne - Real Love If Band Aid 30 didn't release Do They Know It's Xmas on the same week (in November?! ) then Real Love would have been #1. Also it was the outbreak of Ebola that fuelled this re-recording of a 30 year old song.
