If you go by Twitter trending, then Lady Gaga's fans multi-buy more than anybody then.

Not in the UK they don't, it's always The Wanted, JLS, One Direction and Bieber trending. Especially on a weekend, fucking annoying!

It's my favourite ever single that she's released!!! "Dance in the Dark" is her only better song though imo

Agreed 100% :o Though I love Born This Way and Americano.

That's a point. I forgot you could get UK trends, since I always have the worldwide ones up (One Direction do manage to get trending worldwide sometimes too though).

On topic of Lady Gaga songs, my favourites are probably Alejandro and Telephone. I used to prefer Alejandro to Airplanes and LTWYL, infact!!! Obviously, that changed over time, but it's still one of my least hated Gaga songs. And I remember wanting Telephone to get #1 over Pass Out (although that was probably more because Pass Out had already had 2 weeks). Love Game and You and I also, just because they're her least generic songs. My least favourites are Poker Face, Scheisse, Judas, Paparazzi, Bad Romance and Monster.

Ah ha - Exactly what i think - You have good taste :)

Because it's a classic and most channels/statsions/shops aren't even playing Christmas music yet.

Wonder why its there then?

I wonder whether Lab will overtake JLS, the gap is closing. Its all over now at the top, Rihanna is still holding strong and JLs are plummeting. They will be out of the top 10 the way its going by next week with the new additions coming in
Too right!!! It's just sounds like yet another rehash of 'Just The Way You Are' (moreso the style of the song) which straight away makes me dislike the song for sheer lack of originality. Also they're vocally woeful on the track. Especially on the chorus. ** shudders ** How anyone can listen to that and think "OMG, best song of the year!!!!!111" really is quite worrying. It's Westlife all over again.

Totally agree. Now here's a song that genuinely is excellent and deserves to be a monster massive hit. I'm impressed that it's holding up so well. After it entered at #9 I expected the song to plummet but it's doing really well. Long may it continue and yes, top 10 please. :D

TACOM is definitely not the best song of the year. All I'm saying is that it is decent - unlike the vast majority of their material.

I think the best single of the year award goes to 'Judas' imo. ^_^

Just heared rihanna's new song 'You Da One' really like it! I think its better then 'We Found Love' for me it is anyway! :P Anyone know when it's out here?
Can't wait for next week, 2 cover versions hogging the top spot for awhile, The Collective with Teardrops, probably 2 weeks for them and afterwards X Factor Finalists with Wishing On A Star, unless Rihanna can hold them off, not likely.

Hoping for a T40 entry for Christina Perri's 'A Thousand Years' next week - she doesn't deserve to end up like Wiz Khalifa (having a T5 hit and then missing out on the T40 narrowly with the second single).

Coldplay 'Paradise' back in the T20, yay. Good to see Maverick Sabre and Bruno Mars falling a bit too - all these new entries were making the likes of Coldplay and Lana del Rey fall.

A Thousand Years is charting at the moment with pretty much no promotion, it's just selling on name alone from the Twilight soundtrack. Radio 1 have now playlisted it and I think it should climb as airplay increases. Might even be a second top 10 hit for her based on how well it's doing already. It definitely won't do a 'Roll Up' anyway.

Can't believe Paradise is still in the top 20! (Obviously not complaining though). It's been top 20 almost constantly for like 8 and a half weeks.

I saw a video for it on The Box this morning too, so the video may be helping it out a FAIR BIT.

But, yes, the main reason for it Top 40 is just down to Twilight :P

Oh, it has a video? That explains its success a bit I suppose. But it should still climb as its airplay increases.

I guess only time will tell but I have a gut feeling 'Teardrops' won't be a UK #1. However, I do susect One Direction will be there. Oh well, at least their song isn't a cover version.

Of course 'Teardrops' won't be #1 - 'Teardrop' might be though :D

I think I'd much rather One Direction get the #1 to be honest - The Collective is a one-off project for charity, and any position in the T40 will be appreciated by all of the acts involved. If it were a better song, perhaps I'd cheer it on to reach #1 - but it's just rappers saying a single line and Tulisa singing the chorus - nothing really worthy of #1 status.

19 (20) Bruno Mars 'It Will Rain' (also #65)

20 (19) Maverick Sabre 'I Need'

28 (31) Cher Lloyd featuring Mike Posner 'With Ur Love' (AV) (also #11)

35 (38) Christina Perri 'A Thousand Years'

To be fair, replace "Tulisa" with "Tania Foster" and you've basically got Green Light...which got to #1.

Although, I have to admit, the beat to Green Light is LEGENDARY, so we can let it off. I haven't heard The Collective's song yet, but I doubt the beat can be that good, as I imagine it'll be similar to the original's one.
