Its that time of year again - the albums market will take off in the next 3 weeks with loads of artists taking advantage of the Christmas sales bonanza when people who never buy albums during the other 10 months of the years go crazy in HMV buying the latest X-Factor stars or Westlife Greatest Hits....what do you think everyone will be getting in their stockings on the 25th December this year and will they follow Take That's phenomenal 1.9 million sales of last year?

Just chaecked Adeles album sales this year - she will easily clear 4 million by January!

It's impossible to choose! I think it's between Rihanna, One Direction and Michael Buble but who knows who will come out on top.

Well the title does make it look like you are asking which album specifically designed for Christmas (like Bublé's latest) will sell the best but once you look at the actual poll you understand!

Its meant to be just a poll, chose which album will be the biggest seller over the christmas period....i dont know why i bother though you just constantly get people complaining about something or other in here. :(

We just need some clarification and thought into things - no biggie but just pause and think how it will look to another member :D

Just pick one because there are around 3 i think could be massive sellers - NOW 80, One Direction and Rihanna! If you can pick as many as you want it would just become stupid!

I will edit the poll so only one can be picked. I would suggest removing Now 80 as well as it is a separate chart (compliation).

I've voted Rihanna as it's bound to be a massive selling album in the run up to Christmas.

Now that's sorted, I've gone for Michael Bublé but I also think One Direction, Rihanna and Amy Winehouse will have massive Christmas sales. And Now! 80, but that's on the compilation chart.

 

SuBo, JLS and Westlife will have very good sales, Coldplay, Noel and Florence (and Adele) will have good sales, R.E.M. will have okay sales and Bieber will flop into oblivion with any luck (it's not heading for top 10 this week and I'd hope it'll be really frontloaded - but even if it isn't we only have to deal with it in the chart for about 8 weeks).

Strange that Justin Bieber is such a massive celebrity - all the wee girls in Belfast are going crazy for him above all the other stars who actually have a load of great pop songs which have been successful, its annoying. None of his songs have really done overly well in the UK chart apart from maybe 2/3!
