Since it seems that most 20's/15's/etc. is the deciding factor in breaking the ties, Cal and SKOB have now finished 24th and 25th respectively in UP6.

Well done for hosting this Mr Triangles. Great run down that I sadly missed most of. 14th is my best result yet so I'm happy with that. I wonder though did I suffer for having a track too many people knew?

Looking at the scoreboard, I think that Pale Fountains is now the lowest scoring entry ever, which is a shame as it's certainly not that bad at all.

It had one point until Sunday!

It's not catchy at all and I never thought it'd give me a top ten position but as a Divine Comedy fan, I just can't resist that kind of chamber pop.

 

 

I've found a song that I'm sure will do rather well in the next UP. And the last time I had that feeling, I entered Pictureplane and won. :D It's a "why on earth isn't this huge?" song though. I have an awful feeling it'll get huge too soon.

Typically, I've now discovered two tracks that I'm fairly certain would have stood a great chance of winning. If only this was monthly!

Got 2 tracks that are really good compared to this one, which did fairly mediocre, lets have a shorter wait for the next round.

I concur - it seemed like a lifetime between this one and the last.

Hits, Suedehead and Daniel all failed to enter for the first time.

 

Ben, Titty, Ghosthunter and Cal all got their best ever finishes whilst SKOB, Zechhh, Thomsen, Cremey and Doctor Blind all got their lowest ever finishes in UP7.

 

Myself, Freeze and Grebo all equalled our highest ever finishes with Grebo becoming the first person to finish in the same position three times, never quite managing to finish higher than 8th!

On reflection, I now wish I'd entered 'Soldier' by Amatorski into Unknown Pleasures instead of BJSC as it was perhaps a bit too indie for the BJSC crowd.
