Physicals made up 1% of HSAB's sales so they aren't doing physicals of DWMT.

Do the songs sold as part of EPs count towards the total as Olly is 5 on the album chart?

Alot of people haven't heard DWMT yet so I don't think DWMT will be as frontloaded as some think, I reckon he'll get steady sales.

Yes, I haven't heard DWMT yet. Thinking Of Me had a lot of longevity iirc. It peaked at #4, I think, but it sold almost as much as his #1, Please Don't Let Me Go, and had two runs in the top 10.

^ she has had many top 10 singles before she was on x factor, she has also not performed the song on x factor and to my knowledge the single hasnt even been mentioned on it once!

I meant the publicity she is getting from being on the show, regardless of whether it's performed or mentioned. The song is absolutely naff and such a rip-off of many other songs, I doubt it'd be doing half as well if she wasn't in front of 10 million+ people every week.

I have loved a lot of her material in the past - just think DFW is lazy and dreadful to listen to.

^ I even love some of Kelly's current material. In terms of the sinlges, I really like Motivation and Lay It On Me, for example. Down For Whatever is just...THERE. Such an insignificant song. I agree, it's very lazy.
It's actually vile. It's a shame her record label have such a low opinion of our country's music tastes that they think they have to release it here. :(

Their low opinion is justified though, considering it is already top 20 on our iTunes.

I wish Kelly would go back to her meaningful music like 'Stole'. Her songs like 'Like This', 'Motivation' and 'Down For Whatever' just aren't good at all. -_-

Down For Whatever is good but that is really it. SO disappointed in it, especially compared to Motivation (her best single her Stole), which should've been given a proper push :(
Yeah, gets added onto the songs sales at the end of each day.

I listen to Capital often and haven't heard them play DWMT, they still play HSAB often.

Cheers, that'll really help then. HSAB is stifling it a bit, stations are reluctant to take a big hit off rotation. It could be a case of how much awareness of the single will increase before Sunday. Maybe people will see DWMT in the chart and listen to it and or maybe it'll be moved up a few playlists, tv rotation always increases alot in the week of release too, it hasn't had much of that. Olly is doing a live lounge on radio 1 plus a few other things this week as well.

Thinking of me had 3 charity records to contend with, take those out of the frame then it woulda been #1. Chart positions can be very misleading, it's all down to what week you release, alot of the top sellers of the year weren't #1. Olly really seems to care about it though as the pressure's on X Factor alumni to succeed.

 3. Dance With Me Tonight - Olly Murs

 14. Down for Whatever - Kelly Rowland

 31. Levels (Radio Edit) - Avicii

:left: 35. Nothing's Real But Love - Rebecca Ferguson

 68. Levels (Original Version) - Avicii

 200. I Like How It Feels - Enrique Iglesias

Avicii has slowed down :(

Rihanna can't go on selling at the rate she has been!

That's what we kept saying about Adele's '21'...

It'll be interesting to see Rihanna's figures for this week...

I'm happy to see her figure any week, as is GrAmii, judging by the picture in his sig. ;)

I'm glad Olly is doing well. He's really likeable and, unlike Matt, he doesn't take his music too seriously. His videos are always fun yet still creative and his songs are catchy and always decent at the very least. He's also living proof that male artists that come from XF can go on to have a successful music career.

Having said that, I hope he's #2 this week behind RiRi. WFL just doesn't get boring for me. :D At first, I thought it was a weaker version of OG(ITW) but it's just not comparable - OG is cookie-cutter StarGate electro-pop at its very best while WFL is a dance hit which has more interesting lyrics - plus the video is just incredible!

As long as they don't win :kink: JLS are also proof of this (I'd say One Direction are as well but Gotta Be You has underperformed, we'll see if they can have any sustained success - they are arguably the biggest worldwide stars from XF since Alexandra Burke though I guess).

Shayne and Joe did decently though.

Great to see En Vogue's Don't Let Go back  a shame it was brought back by X-Factor however. Hope it can stick around a while ^_^

Don't know how long ago the livepopbars are behind but it has :-

1) Flo Rida 1.000000

2) Rihanna 0.932806

3) Olly 0.693511

Could be 3 for a while.

I really don't think Motivation would have done well in the UK, its too US, 'Lay It On Me' would have been massive though.

Awh, Avril is decreasing again! I hope Keep Holding charts in the top 75 today! That song has turned into such an anthem/classic.

I hope she writhes around a bit like last year, she was sexy as hell. Think she'll do a rubbish jump up and down rountine though, can't really do much else to dance songs like WFL.

I don't think the song is actually that good though, whereas Adele's album is quality. I don't know how well Flo Rida has done but the fact she's not number 1 anymore suggests the song's on the wane.

Rihanna's new album isn't up to much either, it's a shadow of her last album Loud which I loved.

Love DWMT i think it will proabably have a great chart run whether or not it goes to no1

i wonder if Rihanna will do the same performance on x factor tonight as she did on the US version earlier in the week

fantastic to see rebecca underperforming with her coma inducing single. shame it'll be rising after her x factor performance but low top 10 wouldn't bother me.
I didnt think WFL would do this well to be honest, :o RiRi is takenover the charts, Hopefully her album will be #1 next week! :D
