Rihanna has never been a great singer. I seen her performance around Umbrella era and she was diabolical :puke2:

 

 

Yeah I love her studio stuff and normally for me anyone who mimes when people have paid to see them sing live is a complete No-no but unfortunately I cant stop listening to her songs. -_- Its a wider issue but far too many people in the charts these days can't cut it live. Not good. Some of the biggest sellers too.

Two of my best friends went to see her earlier in the week and they said she mimed 90% of it and when she did sing she was singing over a backing track and was diabolical. They were extremely disappointed. They said in some cases the song was playing in the background & she wasn't even attempting to look like she was singing.

Hard to believe Westlife are charting at number 24 in the midweek!! They will end outside of the Top 30 till sunday for sure. . . This is unbelievable. the kings of the No.1s the consecutive Top5 and the only act to have till now 25 consecutive top 10 singles, flopping so badly. . . Anyway the single was a bad choice. BEAUTIFUL WORLD should be released instead. . . Poor Westlife, they could be more successful with better choices over the years. . .

 

 

The single was their best in years. If they released Beautiful World it wouldnt have made the top 40.

 

Just be thankful they are charting at all, im sure Westlife are!

They won't. So far they're doing exactly how JLS were doing last week. I'm pretty certain that we'll see Rihanna at #1 tomorrow, even with 1D's 'Children in Need' performance which won't do much, I think.

 

Shame JLS are at #1 in the albums but I hope that at least they won't clear 100k with 'Jukebox' after first week of sales.

But a lot of reviews I've heard people talking about how much she's improved vocally.. and singing over a backing track is understandable considering I'm guessing she put on quite a big show including dancing

How can One Direction be no.1 when they are no.5 on iTunes? They're also at no.12 on Amazon. I really hope Rihanna gets the no.1 again because I can't stand One Direction. I also hope that either Snow Patrol or Michael Buble increase in sales and sell more than JLS. I can't stand those smug morons as well.

They are all performing on CIN tonight so its a straight race for number 1 album. Theres only a few hundred copies in it, but ii agree cant stand those smug morons either

You know, there's people out there that have deluded themselves to think every attractive female singer mimes.

 

Also, about your last bit, a singer miming will NEVER affect their popularity (majorly). We Found Love sounds exactly the same whether Rihanna does mime it live or not.
