November 18, 201114 yr I actually think Westlife will sell 100k next week of the GH, dont know why but I just think that their fans are waiting for the album rather than picking up the single Are JLS still number 1 in the albums :S they have debuted at number 5 in ireland
November 18, 201114 yr just read on digital spy that JLS r still ahead in the album chart dunno how reliable this is though
November 18, 201114 yr Yayy Snow Patrol top 40, #30 on iTunes now (and that's with Elbow and Glee Cast ahead of them, neither of which are likely to overtake them officially) so will probably end up around #32. Hope the other two that I mentioned can make it in, and Coldplay + GaGa top 10 next week please.
November 18, 201114 yr Take Care #14, wicked. Hopefully with spins on radio, it can hold some longevity and hopefully turn into a big hit. Hopefully he manages to pass Buble and get a Top3.
November 18, 201114 yr Excellent to see Rihanna back at #1, hopefully One Direction will be going only one direction with their chart debuts from now on. :D
November 18, 201114 yr This just proves that 1D/JLS are overly front loaded and have no steam left by the 3rd or 4th day on sale. JLS' album sales are going to be poor this week, probably 70 or 80k Still they will both feature on a number 1 single next week with the XF Finalists charity record coming out

JLS' album sales are going to be poor this week, probably 70 or 80k Still they will both feature on a number 1 single next week with the XF Finalists charity record coming out We knew that already - the majority of pop acts are the same - The Wanted, Cher etc And 70-80k in the album markets at the moment is good - cherry picking has affected albums badly really as shown in the general poor sales [barring Adele] Edited November 18, 201114 yr by ElectroBoy

November 18, 201114 yr Thank God Rihanna is number one! Let's just hope Flo only gets as far as #2. I want Rihanna to get 6 weeks at #1 - although next week isn't certain.
November 18, 201114 yr Author A limited version of the albums chart is now up on the site. It is limited to number 73 and nothing else  Whoever did that... is very clever  # And for the record if anyone missed it on the previous page, there is no album update today

November 18, 201114 yr We could have had some pretty disastrous falls from #1 if it weren't for Professor Green and Rihanna. The Wanted's "Lightning" fell 2-9 JLS will likely follow suit, but will at least fall from 2-8. I expect One Direction will also drop quite a large amount next week, not far enough though!
November 18, 201114 yr Weird seeing boybands begin to lose popularity - frontloaded sales seems to be the only thing going for them. If 1D debut at #2 - then Rihanna has held back three different UK boybands from the #1 spot now. For JLS to get the #1 album would be unjust - with an album discography of 01-02-01, it'd suggest they're gaining popularity - I think a 01-02-02 or 01-02-03 would be better suited (Buble will no doubt experience a significant boost in sales now that the weekend has begun). Rihanna / Flo Rida / X Factor Finalists in battle for #1 next week then. Rihanna / One Direction / Snow Patrol / Buble / Westlife / Coldplay / Florence and the Machine for the #1 album.
