Leona reveals in this interview she is releasing a new cover song next month:

 

 

My guess is the proceeds will be going to the Hopefield sanctuary which is what she has been doing lots of fundraising for recently. I wish it was the next single off Glassheart but it's better than nothing and gives her something to perform on XF.

Nah from that I get that she is releasing a cover song next month and promoting on both X Factors.

Kinda glad because I love Leona's covers, but I'm really hyped for the new album!!!!!!!!!

I'm sure if the cover creates some buzz they will add it to Glassheart.

Oh! Some form of news finally! I hope she sing's on x factor FINAL that would be perfect, Cant wait for GlassHeart next year! :D

Fantastic! Maybe it will include some songs that were originally for the album but have been removed for new tracks being recorded?

This is probably so that she has something to perform on XF this year. It feels weird having a Leona-less X Factor when she released new material at some point this year!

She will probably be on x-factor final by the looks of it :)

Leona Lewis confirms EP release, 'X Factor' performances

 

Leona Lewis has confirmed that she will perform on both The X Factor UK and USA next month.

 

The 'Collide' star had been expected to perform, but her appearances were left in doubt following a delay in the release of her third studio album Glassheart.

 

However, speaking exclusively to Digital Spy at the Hopefield Animal Sanctuary Christmas Fete, Lewis revealed that her performances will take place to promote the release of a three-track EP in December.

 

"I'm going to be on X Factor UK and US. I should be doing the final," the 26-year-old said, adding that continued work on her new collection was going "really good".

 

Lewis continued: "I'm really glad to be back because one of the guys I'm working with on the album is here. I'm going to be working with Fraser [T Smith] for a little while. I've just done the EP, so that's all recorded and will be out this year."

 

Lewis also revealed that she will sing at this year's Royal Variety Performance, marking her second time performing at the annual event. She said that she is still deciding if the winner of her recent dress competition will have their design worn during the Royal Variety or X Factor appearance.

Yes!!!! I was really worried she wouldn't be performing, she hasn't been on the X Facor since 2009!

I have a feeling it may be a xmas EP..she said there arent many songs on it, and if she says one of the songs it'll give the surprise away..big feeling it will be xmas related. :P
