I've gone from loving this when I first heard it, to getting a bit tired of it cause I prop played it too much but now I am back to loving it :) Mollie sounds great on all her parts and love Una's part even if it does kinda feel it kinda goes nowhere

Off topic but The Sats are on Polydor/Universal aren't they? It's being reported they've signed the original Sugababes to their label in a £1million deal (that's if this isn't an April Fools joke :P).. I wonder if the label might ditch The Sats now if things don't improve drastically, especially now they've another girl group signed to them, who will more than likely do well? But I guess as long as The Sats/Sugababes make them money it won't matter? I'm clueless with the buisnessy label side of stuff so I'll shutup, it's probably just a silly thought but it crossed my mind this morning and just made me think and thought I'd post..

The production is decent actually. Still, it doesn't make up for the fact that the lyrics are awfully generic and basic bitch.
I'm on two minds about this. I think it's very catchy and it's definately a grower, however I think it's one of their weaker singles for sure, it just isn't as instant as All Fired Up/Ego/Higher for me. Although I do think this could potentially be a suprise hit for them, and well do better than people think. :)

Polydor is also the label of Lady Gaga, Take That, Lana del Rey...I seriously doubt it's going to make any difference with the way the group is treated. Besides the fact the original Sugababes were never a girlband in the same way TheSats are music-wise, performing-wise, styling-wise...they're not comparable at all.

Noo, I'm not comparing them at all... I'm just saying and wondered that if the Origibabes go on to have big success which they probably will, then what do Polydor/Universal need The Sats for if they still aren't selling well and making much money for the label if the label keep putting money into them but not seeing much of a return? And like you say, there's a variety of acts on Polydor and The Sats are still there so what do I know. :P I'm not comparing them - you're right, they're completely different in almost every aspect but if they focus more on the original Sugababes and they spend a big budget on them and they get much more of a return with them than they do with The Sats, then there wouldn't be much point wasting money and keeping them on, no? But like I say in my first post, it just made me wonder and when I read the article and thought I'd post. I hope I'm not some pyschic and this comes true either haha.

But back to the single - sounds weird, but I don't think this is 'cool' enough a dance/pop track to appeal to a wider, mass audience to have big success. But I really want to be proven wrong! I can never remember how it goes after I've finished listening to it either and that's the first time ever with one of their songs - I don't think the chorus is that distinctive, it just all blends in? Are the rumours about the video premiering on Tuesday true does anyone know?

The point keeping investing money in TheSats would be their ability to reach audiences the original couldn't, like the more young ones or the general audience interested in pop/dance. They won't get that with the originals, so they can't be considered a substitute for them.

Im really liking this now. Its still nowhere there best though. is this from a rerelease or a brand new album?

It hasn't been revealed. I think it maybe a re-release going by the artwork.

I can't see this shifting any albums at all, re-release or not.

Notorious, All Fired Up and My Heart Takes Over didn't sell On Your Radar (and, besides the latter, they were much better than '30 Days') so how is this one going to persuade people to buy an album from The Saturdays?

I think we'll get another single before the re-release. Surely they would have announced it with 30 Days otherwise?

Hopefully it will be something more pop if they do. Then maybe a ballad (Last Call) to end the era and shift a few albums.

I think so too. They still have some weeks to announce it though, but Headlines! was confirmed right after Missing You premiered...and there had been rumours of an album release for weeks prior to that.

I personally don't see the point in a re-release if there's going to be two singles before it, unless there's 5+ new tracks. If there's only 2 or 3, then surely people (myself included) are going to be more likely to just cherry pick the new tracks if they had the old OYR?

I'd quite like a Fame Monster/Cannibal esque EP re-release as a two disc thing with the original OYR but I think 4/5 new tracks is all we can hope for.

I think they should have at least released White Lies, Last Call or Get Ready, Get Set.
I'm still getting over them not performing 'White Lies' on tour :snif:

Worried how this single is going to do, already fallen out of the top 200 on iTunes (Album Chart) Not heard it once on the radio & Capital Fm have failed to play it/playlist it.
It wouldn't surprise me if they ended up leaving White Lies off the re-release. :drama:

I know their manegment are thick but their not that thick(or are they?)

Who's up against them on the release date?

Tulisa has been brought forward and Fun. will almost certainly be brought forward as well.
