I'd say there's still time - they haven't playlisted Niki & The Dove yet and they LOVE them, supported them due to the Sound Of... poll and they had the world premiere of Tomorrow, so they're certain to playlist that. It is still 4 weeks to go, I'd imagine Tomorrow will be added next week due to the May 14 release, however I agree if 30 Days isn't playlisted next week then let's be worried.

I think we can also rule them out of a performance on The Voice also, Emeli Sande has been confirmed as the first opening live act and the shows begin in May.
I hope the news of Mollie dating Prince Harry is true. Imagine the press/attention The Sats would get? Be perfect for their career right now.

I usually get annoyed when fans are moaning how'll they're not playlisted and their airplay isn't great etc...but this time I'm genuinely worried. After how the last single and album performed they need this to be fairly big to then re-release or release a new album and I think it's fair to say it isn't going to be. Like others have said, there's no point in this charting high the first week and then falling like a brick but that's exactly what'll happen. (If it even manages to chart highly at all) The Saturdays need a monster pop song that's gonna be massive and this is not that. I love them and I've supported them from day 1 but this just isn't good enough tbf and it's quite depressing when you think of the potential they had when they started out. :(

 

Oh and btw, Jessie was playlisted this week. ;)

The thing is I agree with some people 30days is not a song that will get The Saturdays a new fan base, they should have taken their time before releasing especially seeing how I think this is going to flop as it's having less airplay than My Heart Takes Over.

Well, Mollie's all over the newspapers currently, so maybe it will help their airplay aswell? So many Usa newspapers/articles are also speaking about The Saturdays/Mollie. I hope it's ture as Mollie could be the new "nation sweetheart"

Jessie J is already at #31 on iTunes and is rising quickly, so she'll probably have peaked by the time The Sats are releasing.

 

That's one less artist for them to worry about on release date, anyway.

After being #54 on the Tv Chart yesterday it's managed to climb to #31. It should only keep on climbing in the next 2-3 weeks, I really hope this at least goes top 10 as TV support is really needed especially with limited radio airplay.

Still no denial with the Mollie/Harry relationship rumours, and Mollie was asked by paps yesterday about the rumours and she ignored the question... but Una smiled... and she's been quiet on Twitter/ignored all the tweets asking if it's true, and hasn't commented whatsoever on the rumours. :P She's been lurking though because she blocked some girls sending her abuse over the rumours... and apparently the two of them were seen in Mayfair yesterday.

 

I hope it's true, they'd be really cute. If it is true, I'm guessing they don't want to confirm it yet or go public because the press would hound them for weeks.. imagine Princess Mollie... the new nations sweetheart. :P Both The Sats' PR/reps and the representatives for the Royal Family have declined to comment... usually they'd deny it straight away, right? At least the Royal Family reps would if it wasn't true? That must only fuel there being some truth to it all. To me, anyway. But then again.. if it is true why wouldn't they go public now it's being reported everywhere?

 

Is it wrong I also kinda want them together as it might (probably won't) help The Sats? :blush: I only say so because American blog sites, radio and TV are picking the story up since it came out yesterday... Good Morning America, Today Show etc have all been running the story over there today.

 

But yes, that was off topic... good to see decent TV airplay... I'll worry about radio if airplay doesn't improve and they aren't added to playlists next week.

It is already helping them. It's giving them great exposure as people want to know more about her, and TV shows use their videos to accompany the news, which means more promotion for those singles/albums. Hopefully it will also mean more exposure to 30 Days as well as helping them to get those US deals.

 

At this point they've got great promotion, so I don't really care if it turns out to be truth or not. If I was their manager, I would tell her not to say anything in a couple of days, though. The sooner she denies it, the sooner they'll stop being named on the papers.

So now Jessie J's climbing up the chart already with LaserLight, plus it's already on her album... there's no real competition during the release week now is there...? Obviously they'll have to compete with all the releases that have been out before them that'll still be sitting strong but maybe they have picked a decent week now for once :P

The blonde one (I think it's Mollie) is so annoying. She has a horrible voice and her face annoys me. She should not be allowed to sing.

The song is also not good. I think it's time for Rochelle to take over the group.

Wow, that is HUGE publicity for them in the US! :o Funny how when they were talking about Mollie they called her the lead singer though. :lol:

 

If this turns out to be true, it really could help their career!

 

They've been on Good Morning America, E Entertainment and The Today Show too, plus some others! And big Australian morning shows have reported the story too, Sunrise I think it's called. I really hope it's true, not just for it maybe helping them but because they'd be a cute couple! I'm so hung up on these rumours, they have to be true... hurry up and go public. (Of course, if they are true) :P

 

Mollie + Harry = Marry. It's meant to be! Ha.

:o I'm going to pretend I didn't hear a word of this. Mollie is just adorable in every way and I'm annoyed that she could be dating a ginger that isn't me. :P

Maybe this should be split into a separate thread, it's not strictly related to 30 Days!
If I were them I'd rush release 30 Days Worldwide (excluding the UK and Ireland) to take advantage of this publicity, particularly in the US!

 

There would be no harm in doing this as it's unlikely to chart anywhere else anyway! So might as well give it a go this time with the publicity!
