I think Rebecca at #8, Drake / Rihanna at #9 and Maroon 5 / Christina Aguilera at #10 is a fair estimation of what'll happen come Sunday - I'm just glad Drake & Rihanna got at least one-week T10, especially now that the next music video is 'The Motto' and will most likely cause it to fall in the coming weeks.

Wow, are One Direction flopping in the album chart? They have two versions at 11 & 17 if you exclude ineligible stuff. Suppose they'll sell a few physicals though. Should be respectable. For some reason they're number 1 in places like Australia!
Olly was 50 copies ahead of Rihanna last count! Has there been a closer battle this year? Rihanna will probably win by 3,000 or something like that though IMO. She's probably already number 1.

Drake - Take Care has just been performed by Florence and The Machine on Live Lounge and is trending on twitter so i wouldn't be surprised to see Take Care shoot up iTunes

Was it actually 'Take Care' (i.e. with the Drake parts) or was it 'I'll Take Care Of You' by Gil Scott-Heron?

It was actually Take Care, she sang Drake's bits rather than rapped ofc :P It was absolutely stunning

RiRi as stopped alot of big acts getting #1 :o

...and for that we should be truly thankful. Although at least 'Dance With Me Tonight' is a decent enough pop single. Far better than the dross JLS were passing off as a new single last week.

It must e a bit gutting for Olly though, at the start of the week he must have thought he was gonna be number 1. The thing is that Rihanna isn't really gonna give shit about being number 1 again, whereas it would make his week.
Olly will still have a bigger opening week than the recent singles by Cher, JLS and One Direction though. I thought all 3 of those were guaranteed #1s (or #2 behind The Collective in the latter case - oh dear) while I was predicting Olly would get to about #4 so it's pleasing to see DWMT looking like being the biggest hit of the four. I do really like 'With Ur Love' and like 'Take A Chance On Me' too but DWMT is hands-down the best of those four.

How does that work then? Do you now have to pay full price, or do you not get it at all?

the video premiere of the X-Factor finalists single is on ITV 2 now before X-Factor USA....how terrible will it be i wonder lol!

Have to pay the full price of £10.99 when I could've had it for £5.00 -_-

Oh well I'll just cancel it then, wasn't in a desperate mode to buy it but thought it would be a nice Xmas gift.. B-)

At least you got the chance, I was watching the timer run down 5-4-3-2-1 then it refreshed with the "Waitlist full" button instead of "Add to basket". Not happy.

Riri has really taken root in the No 1 spot but it would be too much to hope that she can do it for another week. What are the chances she can keep the very weak Wishing on a Star from getting to No 1.

Who do you think will be #1 next Sunday?

Can the X Factor finalists do it with their weak cover 'Wishing On A Star'

And what new entries/re-entries do you think will enter the Top40?

Wishing On A Star sounds like cancer

Maybe:

X Factor Finalists - Wishing On a Star

Emeli Sande - Daddy

Kelly Rowland - Lay It On Me

Jason Derulo - Fight For You (if it doesn't this week)

Beyonce - Love On Top

Bad Meets Evil - Lighters

Example - Midnight Run
