Ah, nice to see "I'm With You" having a resurgence. It would be good if it could somehow outsell "Cheers" by the end of the year given that it pointlessly sampled the worst bit of IWY.

I just heard the T-Pain song for the first time and can honestly say it is one of the worst of the year. Who knew 'Don't Wanna Go Home' could be topped?

I'm surprised 'I'm The Best' by Minaj isn't in the top 1000 on iTunes yet, especially considering it has R1 backing.

 

Me too. I even heard it on Capital aswell. That's not good. :( Although she's got that new song out now, so I guess the era is over anyway.

"Just Be Good To Green" wasn't good either, but "Who'd Have Known" was pleasant... I'm just happy she's credited on "5 O'Clock" otherwise, there would be nothing to root for about this. :puke2:

#17. I have a feeling they could beat that this year at the rate they're going :o (Although it's probably due a bit of a mid-December slump so it depends how well it picks up again in the week running up to Christmas).

 

The usual pattern seems to be an initial charge into the T40, then a couple of weeks with ittle move, then one last push during Xmas week.

Aah, Lloyd was released this week! Can definitely see that debuting at #1, huge song - I think it will return to #1 in January as well (or climb there if it doesn't get there straight away). Probably not a xmas #1 contender but it should definitely be in the top five at xmas so I'm surprised there are no odds on it anywhere, if the X Factor winner's single dies off quickly and Nirvana/Military Wives fail to live up to the hype/expectation (I know the latter are going to have huge CD single sales but can they shift downloads in a large quantity?) then Lloyd has an outside chance as the highest 'normal' song left I think. Not that it would probably be able to shift 150-200k in its third week to overcome the second week of the X Factor winner...
