November 29, 201114 yr Expected higher sales than 56k The charity single last year sold 72,000 in day one, so it's not that much of a drop. Especially since we all knew it was gonna sell less this time around.
November 29, 201114 yr Louise, Ollys first album sold 108,212 in week 1. It looks like he's gonna sell more this time. I honestly didn't expect his album to be selling this well. thank you forget Ollys revenge on Rihanna more like his revenge on Joe Mcelderry albums out in the same week n hes no1 while Joes not top10 the buble as ever is holding up well he'll be back at no1 when his itv special has aired
November 29, 201114 yr Author No sign of the Gorillaz greatest hits album No info for the album but thought Kelly Rowland would be a bit higher given the single and her X Factor profile. X Factor profile ^_^ , The X Factor hype this year has truly burst.

November 29, 201114 yr Already WAY out with some of my xmas comp predictions, should have waited for the mids I guess  N-Dubz are no.43 and Kelly Rowland is no.54. No sign of the Gorillaz greatest hits album Three absolutely mega flops this week :o I expected N-Dubz and Gorillaz top 20 at least and Kelly top 40! Also, surprised to see Kylie top 40, I thought it would show up in the DVD chart like Adele's CD/DVD release!?!
November 29, 201114 yr Tuesday Top 40 Only Singles 1 X Factor Finalists 2011/JLS/One Direction (56,328) 2 Olly Murs (35,000 - 2k ahead) 3 Rihanna/Calvin Harris (33,000) 4 Flo Rida 5 Avicii The article says that Olly is 35k behind XFF, so shouldn't that be him on around 20/21k with Rihanna on 18/19k?
November 29, 201114 yr Gutted Gorillaz isn't Top 40, but then again it has no new tracks on, so I guess their fans already own the albums. On another note, I'm happy Nickelback are finally Top 40 :cheer: hope they can climb or hold on. It's probably their best track to date
November 29, 201114 yr Author The article says that Olly is 35k behind XFF, so shouldn't that be him on around 20/21k with Rihanna on 18/19k? ooops I'm still taking those drugs -_-
November 29, 201114 yr Nothing major new album releases apart from Amy's to come out next week, so we should see albums just switching places until the middle of the new year, Rebecca Ferguson's album is nothing major, she's falling on iTunes with her single, I think she will struggle to get a top 10 album next week with the Xmas rush its going to get lost among the big albums. I think Rebecca is going to shock a lot of us next week. While I think Amy has guaranteed herself the Number 1, I think with all the pre-orders, critical praise and Radio 2 support we might see Rebecca score herself a big Number 2 album. P.S when did you change from Mikey, to Mart!n? Edited November 29, 201114 yr by Mitch
November 29, 201114 yr The Saturdays and Pixie are having dreadful album eras. Feel bad for Kelly but she performs on the show this week so her album may rise. Happy N'Dubz have flopped. Good on Olly, I think his second album is better than his first so he deserves his success. Who apart from vidcapper is buying Joe's Christmas hits, this is the worst cover with the worst video ever.

While I think Amy has guaranteed herself the Number 1, I think with all the pre-orders, critical praise and Radio 2 support we might see Rebecca score herself a big Number 2 album. I didn't think she was gonna do that well based on the first single, but it is in a lot of pre-order charts and is No.21 in the Amazon chart so it may sell between 50-60k. I don't think it will sell more though.
November 29, 201114 yr I was 100% sure Gorillaz would miss the Top 40 and probably Top 75.. They have completely lost their commercial appeal. Thought Progress Live would've done better. It might be a steady seller though, compared to live albums in general at least.
November 29, 201114 yr Saying that though, I haven't seen any promotion for Joes new album and it looks like he's gonna sell the same as his last albums first week sales, so although he's not top ten (he's at #12) he's doing just fine. i know i just think its funny that the judges and people go on and on about winning the x factor when most of the time one of the runners up outsell the winner, for years now thats how its gone rhydian outsold leon, JLS outsold alex (even though she didnt do badly herself), olly outsold joe and 1d will outsell matt
November 29, 201114 yr X Factor profile ^_^ , The X Factor hype this year has truly burst. Very true - could the winner's single miss the Christmas No.1 I wonder, even without an 'anti' campaign? (Not sure if there is one this year)
November 29, 201114 yr Author P.S when did you change from Mikey, to Mart!n? Its be like that for a while now. Feel bad for Kelly but she performs on the show this week so her album may rise. Not sure how her album will perform next week, don't forget straight after the X Factor Results on Sunday, there is Beyonce's TV Special, Kelly's performance will be left in the shadow, will people forget it  Beyonce's hype is bigger than Kelly's bum ^_^
November 29, 201114 yr Very true - could the winner's single miss the Christmas No.1 I wonder, even without an 'anti' campaign? (Not sure if there is one this year) Doubtful, theres a lack of new releases!

While I think Amy has guaranteed herself the Number 1, I think with all the pre-orders, critical praise and Radio 2 support we might see Rebecca score herself a big Number 2 album. She's had some very positive reviews for the album - one of the broadsheets apparently called her "the first credible X Factor star" or words to that effect.
