NBC have premiered the official music video for the cover of 'Beautiful', I assume it'll be sent to music channels for extra promo just like 'Don't Stop Believin' (Glee version) was played on them.

 

 

I'm getting very excited now, obviously in the same vein as Glee in that it contains performances which will be made available to download via iTunes but the show itself will be very different, and the cast looks pretty good too. Expect a UK broadcaster to snap it up quick if none have already.

 

Begins Monday 6th February at 10/9c in the US following The Voice, so it looks set to be a smash in more than one sense.

I can't help but feel Katharine McPhee is much too bland to be a leading lady... and in turn that's a very bland rendition of Beautiful.

 

I'll give it a go for Debra Messing and Anjelica Houston but my expectations are low.

I did enjoy a couple of Katharine McPhee's songs ('Open Toes' is a modern footwear classic) but she didn't impress me much in The House Bunny.

Debra Messing is UHMAZING and thus I shall be watching this.

Words can't describe how excited I am for this show. This is a Musical Theatre student's ideal show. :kink:

I agree with Jark Katharine is far too bland to lead on paper, but it still could work and I'm really excited for this!

That's fantastic! I really hope this show is a hit, because it looks great, from what I've seen so far.

Sky Atlantic has got this in the UK which is a bit annoying as it probably won't recieve that much attention over here. No idea what figures the channel gets exactly but nothing seems to get anything above about 780k from looking at some BARB figures.

Presumably that's a bigger figure than anything on Watch/FX/the other channels that tend to buy up US imports though? What does Sky Living tend to manage?

I was thinking this would go to Sky Atlantic tbh, I don't get it though :( I'll have to watch online I suppose.

'Bones' has been the top rated show on Sky Living the past couple of weeks getting about 830k, The Walking Dead got about 850k for FX at least one week.

 

Looking back at May though, it seems that Game of Thrones managed about 1.15 million per week for Sky Atlantic, so it could do fine if they promote it enough.

^_^ CHUFFED. I think it helps that Sky Living/1/Atlantic/etc are airing things reasonably quickly after the States.

This was released a while back, but it hasn't been posted here and it's absolutely stunning. Both Katherine and Megan are incredibly talented:

They both look ridiculous. Reminds me of Lil' Kim in the Lady Marmalade video.

 

I personally think they both look incredible, such beauties.

Being beautiful (and Megan Hilty really isn't) doesn't mean they make a good Marilyn.
