November 16, 201212 yr I bought the 'Paradise Edition' today as the original album started to grow on me too (I never bought 'Born to Die' so I'm glad I waited). Very happy now to have all 23 tracks on one CD (well, actually two CDs). I still don't really care about the 'Born to Die' bonus tracks so I'd rather have had the normal edition on this edition but you can't have it all.
November 16, 201212 yr I wonder if the sales of pepsi and cola are going to skyrocket when she releases 'Cola' as a single? :o
November 16, 201212 yr Ride is by FAR the best thing on Paradise for me, listened to it a couple of times and I'm finding the best okay but a tad dull.
November 16, 201212 yr Well Diet Mtn Dew made me drink a lot of the stuff when Born To Die was released! Probably the same will happen again to fickle me.
November 18, 201212 yr Ride enters at #32 on the Official Chart. Deserved so much more, but hopefully the album stays top 10 for a while now!
November 19, 201212 yr I really love 'Ride', 'Cola' and 'Gods & Monsters' of the new tracks, but 'Bel Air' and 'American' are also superb!
November 19, 201212 yr Ride, Bel Air and Burning Desire  Yayo is my least favourite atm I hope it grows.
November 26, 201212 yr The lack of up-tempo tracks on the Paradise edition has annoyed me slightly. 'National Anthem' and 'This Is What Makes Us Girls' are fine examples of how she can do up-tempo fantastically, yet there are no up-tempo tracks whatsoever on the new CD, disappointing... That being said, I still love it - and her - to bits! <3
November 26, 201212 yr I agree that she does it well (This is What Makes Us Girls is just divine), but the new tracks are so euphoric that they work as they are. I guess she could have ditched Blue Velvet and Yayo to add more to the mix, but when you have songs like G&M, American, Cola, Body Electric, Ride etc i can't complain  Still SO obsessed with the whole package!
November 26, 201212 yr Which is why she should have put KINDA OUTTA LUCK on the album. I'm still AGOG she's left that wonderful song without an album.
November 26, 201212 yr Probably wasn't her decision. Whilst I love the album and it has received aclaim from reviewers, many critics have noted how 'Paradise' is very similar to 'Born To Die'. I think that she'll have to change it up a bit on her next studio release or else the general public could start to get a little bored of her. Of course, that doesn't seem to be a problem for Rihanna but she's at the point where she could release a blank album and it'd sell. :o I see she has revealed she is already hard at work for her next full length album. LOVE U THO LANA Edited November 26, 201212 yr by Slowpoke
November 27, 201212 yr To be honest the only song I use from paradise is bel air, the rest and I'm a huge Lana fan are completely samey, I feel like we heard better unreleased music from her leaks over the year than what ended up on there. I like the vibe but her songs on the repack do nothing without the imagery. Like ride without that amazing film is dull.
November 28, 201212 yr I'm growing such a massive obession with Lana music. I love "Paradise", with "Bel air" as a favourite at the moment. She has delivered amazing music  What are her best unreleased songs ? I already have Driving in cars with boys, Kinda outta luck, You can be the boss, Match made in haeven and Never let me go.
December 9, 201212 yr I wonder if the sales of pepsi and cola are going to skyrocket when she releases 'Cola' as a single? :o Ahem... :P I don't like Pepsi, myself. BTW, who else likes 'Carmen' from the original release of the album?
December 9, 201212 yr BTW, who else likes 'Carmen' from the original release of the album? It's not one of my favourites, but i do actually enjoy every track on the original. Without You has been my favourite track from Lana for a while now though  Tis divine!
December 18, 201212 yr "Carmen" is epic! It's a shame her album hasn't got a bigger boost from the Xmas market. :(
