Posted December 5, 201113 yr He's been nominated in the Sound Of Poll which means I think he could be massive next year. He's already very popular on YouTube and made dub step popular to the masses. He's already had a minor hit "Ruffneck (Full Flex)" at #89, but "Scary Monsters And Nice Sprites", "Kill Everybody" and "First Of The Year (Equinox)" are all very popular too. Will he get dub step their third number one? (after "Louder" and "Promises") or will he stay popular on the internet but not make massive singles/albums WSeNSzJ2-Jw&ob=av2e Edited January 5, 201312 yr by 2013 Thermometer
December 5, 201113 yr he's already pretty massive I don't understand why he is on the BBC Sound Poll when he has just had a successful year. Oh and he is f***ing crap.
December 6, 201113 yr This is the song that introduced me to Skrillex. It was a remix of Rock That Body (the original version was produced by will.i.am and David Guetta). zDr_k5SLpoA I like Skrillex, although it does annoy me a bit that a lot of people in the US seem to think he's the only dubstep producer.
December 6, 201113 yr Shamefully my favourite thing he's done so far is his first collaboration with Korn  cK8YSsjIaDs I think with the right single he could be absolutely massive, I'm half convinced he'll stay fairly well underground and just provide the springboard for more mainstream dubstep artists though.
December 6, 201113 yr Author It's all about Kill Everybody and First of the Year (Equinox). For me it's about Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites  I've also just got into Kill Everybody (Bare Noise Remix), it's better than the original as it's more 'dubsteppy'. First Of The Year is also a tune
December 7, 201113 yr Lol ahaha I hate Skrillex, all the chindie's love him to bits... he's ruined real dubstep. Digital Mystikz, Benga, Skream, Rusko... and then the new chipstep and post-dubstep scene; that's where it's at... Skrillex is diabolical.
December 21, 201113 yr Hmmm I don't know. If i we're him i would of taken that album and spread it out through 5 years of work. Don't know how he'll top it. Would love to wait and see.
December 23, 201113 yr He will have a number #1 next year with Breathe. Quote me. Now that it's called Summit and features Ellie Goulding, I think this will be the case indeed. Edited December 23, 201113 yr by Conderella
December 23, 201113 yr Author I am in love with "Summit" at the moment, even if Ellie Goulding's only in for 20 seconds it's still amazing  R7HqIcy1Vw0
December 28, 201113 yr I've not heard Breathe before but as Summit it's a little bit epic  It's exactly the same as Summit, bar the Ellie Goulding cameo!
December 28, 201113 yr Voltage is rather good as well. bizL0kRychU Although the Adele mashup "Set Fire To Everybody" is fantastic.
December 29, 201113 yr First Of The Year (Equinox) is the best of what I've heard. One of my favourite tunes of '11. He reminds me of Squarepusher - kicks in after 50 seconds AkzeigMWfk8 Edited December 29, 201113 yr by tonyttt31
