It makes the boring JLS/One Direction/Westlife/Leona appearances a bit pointless though, if none of them are involved in the show directly.

 

It's nothing new though. I think it was the X Factor final in 2009 they just seemed to randomly throw in Leona singing 'Stop Crying Your Heart Out'. As much as I like Leona, her performance just didn't fit into the rest of the final and was completely out of place and inappropriate. I guess Simon Cowell is just sitting backstage thinking "£££ *.* £££".

She is releasing it, she has a 3 track EP with covers of Iris, Hurt and Colorblind (Counting Crows, not Darius :P) coming out.

It'll be the same as 2009 when they had JLS/Alexandra perform Everybody In Love/Bad Boys and then Leona performed straight after

 

Except this time Alexandra won't be there and One Direction will

 

Are the contestants doing christmas songs ? I remember JLS/Alex/Eoghan doing them and then the year after they did their audition songs I believe, but Little Mix don't have an audition song to perform

In 2008 they did a Christmas song, a celeb duet and their favourite performance.

This 'EP' is a bit pathetic - only 3 tracks? Might as well just be a single and two B-Sides. I was expecting something like 5 or 6 tracks.

Not sure about the mentors performing with their acts, surely that puts little mix in the worst off position performing with tulisa..when Marcus has a member of one of the biggest UK groups of all time and Amelia has one of the biggest girl groups of all time?

Cant wait for Leona's performance I love both Colourblind and Hurt as songs, and the originals are great so really excited to see Leona's performance of Hurt. The EP is already out in Ireland (i cant seem to find it though) and think its out on Sunday in UK. I've heard them on youtube once over this morning, powerful material!
