December 9, 201113 yr I quite like this. It's a varied show supporting our own very successful talent, no problems with it at all. Definitely a welcome addition. Maybe it's an acknowledgement of the fact that music is about more than just the charts. The Vaccines have been very busy on the festival circuit this year. Even so, their album was in the top 5 selling debuts of the year a couple of weeks ago. It may have been overtaken now but that's a pretty decent sales achievement too
December 9, 201113 yr Maybe the Vaccines are tipped for the Best British Brit Group Award next year, come to think of it I wouldn't be surprised
December 9, 201113 yr :o at The Vaccines. Great to see them on there, not a bad line-up! I'm certainly fine with the lack of JLS and/or One Direction :P
December 25, 201113 yr I quite like this. It's a varied show supporting our own very successful talent, no problems with it at all. That may be so, but it means a lot of the year's best-selling songs won't be there...
December 25, 201113 yr The only decent thing on this afternoon to save me from sheer boredom stuck with my extended family and it's on at friggin 2pm. Might not even be finished my Christmas pudding by then.
December 25, 201113 yr To be fair, I don't think you'll miss much! Where the hell is Jessie J? One Direction? They should show Adele from Jools Holland at least!!!!!
December 25, 201113 yr To be fair, I don't think you'll miss much! Where the hell is Jessie J? One Direction? They should show Adele from Jools Holland at least!!!!! They're playing an Adele performance from her Royal Albert Hall set (Someone Like You, one would guess) apparently.
December 25, 201113 yr don't they usually have one on new years eve/day as well with some same and some slightly different performances?
December 25, 201113 yr To be fair, I don't think you'll miss much! Where the hell is Jessie J? One Direction? They should show Adele from Jools Holland at least!!!!! TOTP limit themselves to one boyband a year so they have a variety. Its The Wanted this year. Awww, Example is well chuffed to be on TOTP Edited December 25, 201113 yr by Paramore
December 25, 201113 yr Exampl,e pretty good so far!! Aul Reggie looking hilarious in his glasses, wheres the xmas jumpers tho!
December 25, 201113 yr Really like Will Young and Jealousy! I would say TOTPs will help certain artists with the gift card effect! Edited December 25, 201113 yr by steve201

Awww, Example is well chuffed to be on TOTP Would you not consider Rizzle Kicks to be a boyband? I hate the way they play random songs in their review of the year now, why not do the no1 like of old?
December 25, 201113 yr Would you not consider Rizzle Kicks to be a boyband? I hate the way they play random songs in their review of the year now, why not do the no1 like of old? Not really. There are only two of them and they do urban rap. So I wouldn't say they are in the pop group mould like 1D, JLS, The Wanted, BSB, *Nsync, Westlife, Take That, Boyzone etc

Is anyone starting a christmas chart thread in an hour? Seems to be a fair few on here!!I thought that would be the case, im just waiting on dinner and sitting on my laptop all evening!
December 25, 201113 yr Ed Sheeran doing The A Team - back in the top 10 again? Great performance! He has the exact same jumper i got from my sister for xmas there!
December 25, 201113 yr Great to see Noah and the Whale on TOTPs and then the Vaccines to come, credible enough!
