Thought a topic should be needed for the winners of The X Factor 2011, Little Mix! :D

I'm SO happy that they won, definitely the right choice of a winner since Alexandra for me. Their cover of 'Cannonball' was amazing on the programme, looking forward to the studio version!

Don't know what I think of that logo. I like the colours, but it makes it look very young.

So what will they pick out as the 3 best performances? Don't Let Go obviously. And then..E.T? But with that added bonus I think I'll get the physical, maybe next week though to help it in the Christmas #1 race. :D

Love that cover!

Can't wait to hear the studio version.

The 3 best performances better be Don't Let Go, E.T, and then I'm Like A Bird, probably; it was the performance that got me noticing them.

I'll buy the CD single for sure and love them/their version of the song. Still I'm slightly fed up with X Factor being xmas #1 every year so I won't be holding off to buy the physical next week, I'll buy it as soon as it surfaces (unless that is next week of course!). Rather Little Mix than Nirvana though - the Rage campaign was great but with each passing year and campaign to prove the same point that was already proven, it gets more than a little tiresome.

I hope I'm Like A Bird is the other one, it's the one that made me go "oh, these are actually quite good.."

I too am fed up with The X Factor hogging the Christmas #1 but WHO BLOODY CARES when it's Little Mix. (Plus I hate the campaigns even more)

The artwork is good in an awful kind of way. Marcus' version was better. Glad she won though :)

Just listened to the studio version, the same as the live version but obviously without the impact/atmosphere. It's about as good as Girls Aloud's I'll Stand By You (i.e. very good and fairly contemporary cover but nowhere near what they were capable of at their best) but I can't wait to see what they come out with in the future. It's no Sound of the Underground (more their cover of Stay Another Day if the original Girls Aloud plan had gone ahead...) and it will probably end up as a bonus track on their debut album which will hopefully be a lot more fresh and uptempo but it's my favourite winner's single since Leona's A Moment Like This regardless.

I always say that SOTU was a genuine one off but then Australia's X Factor winner Reece Mastin just had a really decent original debut single so you never know...

I just really hope that they will release the lead single of their first album in the summer time, around the time JLS and Olly Murs released their début singles, instead of releasing for the first live show of next year's series.
Just downloaded it from Amazon (as I had some credit, lol). I like it :)

I just got this from Amazon too.

I think their version is BEAUTIFUL. They've really taken time on the studio version to focus on the vocals and showcase how talented each of them are. I think their stripped down version focusing on harmonies and the like was much better than Marcus', who would have been rather Joe McElderry doing 'The Climb' had he won and released this.

Just listened to the studio version

Link?

Link?

Bought it and listened to it on my computer is what I meant...it's on Amazon and Play now!

I agree with Slick about the arrangement though, it's basically as good as it could have been - the acapella intro is quite special. Marcus' version was decent in the last minute but plodding and bland in the first two.

Like a cannonball...

Yes, the best release plan would be:

1st Single in July

2nd Single in early October

Album in late October
