December 12, 201113 yr LMFAO's at #1 because SLY was split between the studio and the live version Ah - I was wondering what had happened there.
December 12, 201113 yr Author Also, it's worth noting that this is actually November to November. I was wondering why Matt Cardle, Only Girl and What's My Name were up so high to be honest :)
December 12, 201113 yr For those with iTunes: http://itunes.apple.com/gb/playlist/top-se...ngs/id484460930 87 Noah and the Whale "L.I.F.E.G.O.E.S.O.N." :D ^^ On air/On Sale. :D
December 12, 201113 yr Author For those with iTunes: http://itunes.apple.com/gb/playlist/top-se...ngs/id484460930 87 Noah and the Whale "L.I.F.E.G.O.E.S.O.N." :D ^^ On air/On Sale. :D LMFAO's "Party Rock Anthem" was also on air on sale ^_^ Actually, the only song in the top 5 that isn't OA/OS is 'Moves Like Jagger', and that only got significant airplay after it's release. You could argue that PT and SLY weren't exactly OA/OS too but close enough Edited December 12, 201113 yr by danielXF
December 12, 201113 yr I was thinking this list was bollocks due to SLY only being #2 and What's My Name? being top 10, but if it's Nov to Nov (which is stupid anyway) and Adele's sales are split between the album version and the live version it makes sense. As much as a Nov to Nov 'end of year chart' makes sense (which is to say not at all). Love Labrinth just finishing ahead of Professor Green. Especially as Labrinth had a second version that sold strongly for a long time (Green has also had more than one version but his other versions have been less prominent/long-lived than Labrinth's). Also good to see 'Paradise' in there (I assume its first 6 weeks must have been counted for this). Edited December 12, 201113 yr by Bré
December 12, 201113 yr ^ Well, it obviously couldn't have been the actual year, because it hasn't ended yet!
December 12, 201113 yr How is the Platinum Edition of Who You Are showing up as #6? That version has sold peanuts - the vast majority of its sales came from the standard edition (although that's now been deleted). And are the two versions of '+' combined? I find it a bit hard to believe the standard version hasn't made the top 40 in its own right. Edited December 12, 201113 yr by Bré
