January 30, 201213 yr Author The only thing that really let down the Rumble match was the amount of filler superstars there were in there. I only thought about 4 of the superstars had a realistic shot at winning this year. (Jericho, Sheamus, Barrett & Orton) I genuinely want Kharma to win one year though (amazing to see her back - best thing that happened all night for me, 2nd was Kofi's handstand thing - or she should at least get to the final 3 or 4 or something) It's about time a woman was involved heavily with the men of wrestling, in the same way Chyna was. Also they missed the opportunity to create some proper buzz and should have had a Beth vs. Kharma rumble showdown for a bit. IT MUST BE KHARMA vs. BETH AT WRESTLEMANIA. PLEASE LET IT HAPPEN! Other than that, the PPV as a whole was a little bleh. But it did have it's moments. Punk vs. Dolph was as brilliant as I expected it to be. Also as I said last night, Sheamus vs. Jericho MUST happen at some point! It simply MUST! Much better than last years though. Plus Jon you better hope Damon stay away from this thread seeing you've mentioned some things without spoiler tags
January 30, 201213 yr Author Where the hell is the Undertaker then, seems like there was virtually no big names in the Rumble  Dunno. Michael Cole was a BIG name
January 30, 201213 yr Author With the rumble there was 3 things I didn't like. 1. That there was no huge suprises like Christian, Taker, Rikishi etc. 2. Kane didn't appear and ended his consecutive rumble appearances. 3. The time went so quickly through a majority of the match and was slow at some points. Edited January 30, 201213 yr by Rob Summers
January 30, 201213 yr Hello All. Kane is amazing. The thing that stole the show for me was.... http://28.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lymfpuRrvU1qk22gwo1_400.jpg Edited January 30, 201213 yr by lee wallace
January 30, 201213 yr I just finished watching it about 30 minutes ago, was alright ^_^ Did enjoy it, was a good laugh. Road Dogg & Kharma were the highlights for me, always nice to see Jerry Lawler get in the ring each time I think. Is it still 90 seconds till each superstar enters? Kane should have been in it, my only objective!

The thing that stole the show for me was.... http://28.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lymfpuRrvU1qk22gwo1_400.jpg Agreed if there had to be one suprise I didn't see coming (but then surely could have had an inkling something like this would've happened) it would have to be Kharma. Road Dogg was a great addition but I already knew he was back with WWE a few months ago so gathered he would don the Road Dogg gimmick for this. I'm so tempted to rewatch it again. Might watch the rumble again tonight  Edited January 30, 201213 yr by Rob Summers
January 31, 201213 yr Have to say it was a real disappointment yet again. I wish they would really put their heads together and think about a working running order that didn't rely on the entire ring (apart from The Miz and Cody Rhodes) being thrown out once their 'set piece' has finished. I think the biggest ring count was around seven when Michael Cole came in and I really miss the days when you'd have up to 12 people in at once. That said, Kofi's handstand was great and the ending between Jericho and Sheamus were pretty exciting.
February 1, 201213 yr Watched it last night, didn't think it was too bad really. Shocked Sheamus won it, really struggling to work out Mania atm? Best I could come up with is a Fatal 4 Way between Bryan/Sheamus/Barrett/Orton, gives them all something to do. Who knows!
February 1, 201213 yr Author It's safe to say 3 matches are pretty much garunteed. Cena V Rock (We knew since last year), Taker V HHH for the billionth time & Punk V Jericho. I should expect Sheamus V Bryan only but who knows. I see Orton maybe facing off against Barrett in a match to end their feud or something.
February 2, 201213 yr Wow, that rumble match was booooring. It felt like half the entrants were comedy or old wrestlers. Shows how thin the current roster actually is. The biggest disappointment was the cage match. There was almost no suspense at all. The first time, someone actually climbed the cage, the match was over. :/ And Punk vs. Ziggler could have been great if it wasn't for the stupid Laurinaitis storyline. Kane is just boring. He should retire. And Eve might be the worst "actor" on the diva roster. Very disappointing PPV, I thought. Edited February 2, 201213 yr by zechhh
February 2, 201213 yr Yeah, he looks great but he is so limited in-ring. Punch, that jump from the top rope, chokeslam and that new weird thing where he grabs the mouth and the nose and that's it. :D
