Oh my at Everything's Fine nearly getting through! Some fantastic results here - LOVE that jj and The Weeknd got through, but that aside I'm mildly outraged at the slaughter of Jody/Alpines/Dajana in XXXVII. I'd have much rather had Vendela through over Selena as well, but even so, not bad! :D

Expected Jag Kommer to make the semi's after coming second, so I'm pleased it has.

 

 

Two semi-final entries is on par for Ashton and the rest of our tracks performed strongly.

I had a :D moment seeing someone enter 'Trick Me' by Kelis. I bet that was a real discovery!!! :lol: From that list, I'd have to say kudos to Hendinia as The Noisettes track is my fave track in that top 10.

 

BJSC can be attributed to some of the unknown songs in my chart but just as many of them are random blog discoveries, album tracks or Eurovision National Final songs (during January-May!)

 

Noisettes, and pretty much the majority of the finalists were a few weeks away from their UK release, or in Taylor Swift's case had just been released and were at #2 in the chart :lol: So I don't think anybody was getting much kudos that month.

The mentality was, I think, in the early days that if it hasn't been released yet then it's not cheap :lol:

Ooh, YAY! Ladytron was probably one of the least likely of my entries I thought would qualify, but it's nice to have a song in the semi-finals considering my major lack of activity this year!
