Sorry to be pedantic but wasn't Take That's #1 album the re-release called "Progressed" not "Progress"

It was, but for chart purposes it was combined to 'Progress' (hence why it's not counted as a new #1).

The most irrelevant no1 for me was Examples second no1 in August, nowhere near the quality of CTWYKM, got to no1 because his album had yet to be released!

Regardless of its relevance Stay Awake is by far my favourite #1 of the year (would only be topped if Coldplay had somehow got there, they're perhaps vying for best #1 of 2012 :P)

i just cant even remember how it went...although in a similar vain i think Nero is a cracking no1 even though it only was top 40 for 5 weeks.....a great band for dance in 2011!

13 number ones I bought :D on the whole a good year for #1s although there were as per usual some truely terrible ones too (JLS, Wanted, 1D, Bruno...)

Emile Sande Heaven and Maroon 5 moves like jagger should be on the list of no.1s two of the best records of the year imo

Sak Noel worst no.1 of the year, ppl only bought it cause of the swear words

Which explains why the censored version sold far more than the explicit version PERFECTLY.
