December 28, 201113 yr oh for god sake, that fat overrated ginger is winning? jesus, everyone really is just a sheep. 'born this way' by far. my favourite album of the year. incredible. What a classy comment <_< Out of those options, I've chosen Coldplay, I also liked Echoes, 21 (ooh I'm a sheep) and Ceremonials. I thought BTW absolutely stank.
December 28, 201113 yr I'm not sure thats true too be honest. Plenty of people with not much talent sell lots of records for many reasons. They only reason I want the acts I like to sell is so they can carry on making albums not because sales make other people think they are good. There's a big difference between good and commercial I think. Of course you can be both. Totally agree - as long as they sell enough to keep going, I'm happy.
December 28, 201113 yr It is an odd shortlist, as there are a lot of big albums that were well received that have been exluded. The most obvious to me being the Ed Sheeran and Jessie J ones, which I was expecting to pick between. Of those listed my favourites would be Gaga or Bruno Mars, but my proper favourites have been Nicola Roberts and Rizzle Kicks. I don't even own 21, as I've heard more than enough on the radio, but even I would feel something was wrong if it didn't win. It's had consistently huge sales and very positive feedback. There will be a few sheep buying it, just because, but it's apparent from the chart run, and consistent selling singles, and the lift in sales of her first album, that people are buying 21 for themselves and genuinely rating it. It's tough on everyone else, but it does deserve to win all of the awards. Edited December 28, 201113 yr by Nosey
December 28, 201113 yr Adele - 21 Probably going to sweep every award isn't she. It is a good album, I am still happy if this wins Bruno Mars - Doo-Wops And Hooligans Bruno being on this list doesn't surprise me, still not oneof my favourite albums Amy Winehouse - Lioness: Hidden Treasures No comment, just a BAD idea from every point of view Coldplay - Mylo Xyloto Good album (lyrically weak, musicaly strong although some of the electronic music actually ruins their songs) Florence and the Machine - Ceremonials My favourite, I voted for it. Interesting concept surrounded by good videos and singles. Lady Gaga - Born this Way I prefer this to The Fame, but obviously everyone else doesn't  Not my favourite, still ok. Will Young - Echoes Doesn't fit the list imo (if we bar out Wino) Edited December 28, 201113 yr by 7heDreamer
