I've been reading that Christina's been having singing lessons (thank God), so hopefully this will be less screamy when performed live. I'm definitely looking forward to hearing it. But I agree with Jark, hopefully she'll lose some weight for the next era, because she looks dreadful.

I've never been a massive fan of Christina, but I found Not Myself Tonight to be very underrated. The chorus was a little weak compared to the rest of it but it was still quite an explosive comeback single. You Lost Me was stunning. I can't believe it didn't go top 40.

I was thinking that, but then at second look, it could be another 'Born This Way'/'Firework' type feel-good "you're perfect" upbeat pop song / 'F**kin Perfect'/'Who You Are' type "you're perfect" ballad pop song...

Two sources on twitter have tweeted a line of the song:

The line sounds like it will be a sexual I-don't-give-a-damn 'Dirrty' song. The line itself implies "I don't give a shit about you I just need to know which person's house we are going to have sex in"...

 

Apparently, it is going to premiere on New Year's Eve. I don't necessarily believe the rumour but it is possible. The song is getting a lot of requests already on U.S. radio stations despite nobody even hearing it yet.

Eh at all this? 'Love Your Body' for lead single when YOU the ARTISTÉ has a body looking at its all time WORST.

 

Also could someone give me a semi-detailed outline as to how 'Bionic' was any good? If anything it's a guidebook as to how NOT to compose a pop album. MESS.

I liked Bionic, but it was an album with quite a few 'good' songs but not one song that stood out as a killer single sadly. :(

 

I'm hoping she can turn it around, if J-Lo and Nicole can score huge #1s then anything is certainly possible.

Hopefully the world will have picked up interest in Christina again, especially now following the success of 'Moves Like Jagger'. It'd be great for her to learn from the mistakes of the 'Bionic' era and actually come and promote the new album, really make 2012 count music-wise.

I love Christina, but the title sounds like it's gonna take slutty to another level... That didn't help Bionic. :( I hope it's more on the lines of Dirrty or Don't Cha if it's gonna be a slutthem though! Hopefully the success of Moves Like Jagger will help her become a success again!

I like the sound of the new song from listening to the instrumental. Its more like dance stuff from 90s. Will have to wait and hear the proper vocal version.

Once again, people, any instrumental that people are claiming has 'leaked' is fake. Nothing has been heard of this yet.

 

Ooh I am looking forward to this. Christina's had some classic songs and I adored the two singles from Bionic. I just hope this isn't as tacky and generic as the title suggests.
