FC Untied haven't had the same passion they seem to have had in the FA CUP before now so far :( So cruel coneeding on 45+3 as well.

As a Brighton supporter :cheer:  :cheer: :yahoo:

5 and a half years? Bearing in mind the amount of managers that Ashley has gone through in 3 years, I don't think Pardew will last that long.

Erm, he's from Buckinghamshire, a long way from Newcastle or Sunderland

Oh wow, point well and truly missed there methinks

Facepalm.

He is going to end up at Real Madrid or Barcelona, probably Barca thinking about it...no doubt Messi will be on the speed dial to Tevez!

Allardyce sacked by Blackburn. More surprising than the Hughton one imo, it was clear Ashley never wanted Hughton for the long term, with Allardyce there was no indication at all. Very bizarre.
I dunno, when the new owners took over apparently they wanted to watch "attractive football" and now they've had the chance to see 3-4 games, they've probably realised it's not possible under Allardyce

This was, of course, discussed before the Man U v Arsenal game tonight. Funnily enough, in the interview with Allardyce and in the discussion afterwards, there was ano mention of the style of play. Obviously we can expect to see Allardyce as a pundit at a Sky game very soon.

Can't believe Dale Roberts has died, saw him play a few times at Rushden in the last 2 seasons and he looked a top keeper at that level. Only 24yrs old aswell :(

R.I.P Dale.

R.I.P indeed

I think he had a few health problems in his past, but either way 24, such a young age to die

I've heard rumours that it was suicide.

It was reported in back in May that his long-term partner had an affair with Paul Terry (brother of John), and people are now saying he never got over it. :(

Suicide seems likely now, only a few stories saying about the Terry link though at the moment. Find it quite sad aswell that he didn't even get to spend his last few months alive enjoying football, he got an injury at the start of the season and had been on the bench since he came back about 2 months ago :(

I bet City fans are loving being top at Christmas for the first time in 81 years.
