February 7, 201114 yr Suarez was better than Torres today.. I don't often genuinly LOL when I say LOL, but LOL.
February 7, 201114 yr Author What a bizarre weekend it's been.. 45 goals and some unbelievable matches. I'm typing this through gritted teeth but fair play to Newcastle for coming back from 4-0 down against Arsenal, has to be the greatest comeback since the inception of the Premier League. It showed why Newcastle (Unfortunately) won't go down and why Arsenal won't be winning the title without some serious investment into the squad. Everton v Blackpool, Wigan v Blackburn, loads of thrillers, Villa and Fulham were unlucky to be on near the end of MOTD, any other week they'd have been right near the front  What are the odds every match next weekend will be 0-0 or 1-0? lolz
February 7, 201114 yr I did read last night that the referee and Rosicky were being investigated for match fixing LOL A ton of people apparently placed money on it being a draw...but that's not all the surprising really. If i'd have been in I'd have definitely wacked a cheeky £1 on Newcastle to draw at half-time! 500/1 is such a huge price for something that really is not beyond the realms of possibility.
February 7, 201114 yr Author Yeah, I saw that. I've also had a good LOL at the Arsenal fans on another forum having a whinge saying Phil Dowd threw away their 4-0 lead  Mind, I did read that Dowd has reffereed Arsenal four times this season, given four pens against them and dismissed two Arsenal players. In the other 17 games he's been in charge of he's given just three penalties and sent off five players. So needless to say he's not the most popular of refs with the Arsenal fans
February 7, 201114 yr In fairness to Arsenal - it's swings and roundabouts. Newcastle could've won that, had Leon Best's goal been allowed (seeing as it was onside) - so, the 2nd penalty be being given. Sure, it was dubious - but it could've been worse for Arsenal, and although I understand the worry - it could've been worse for them. Great result for us yesterday - from the start, I refused to call him King Kenny. Everybody started him hailing him after one win - I've held off. But I think it's time I place the crown on his head, he is turning the fans/players/overall morale around. This win against Chelsea will do wonders for the players confidence - and I think they could be challenging for 4th place now (though I won't get too excited, this season has been way to up/down for that)

What he was done for Liverpool is legendary. Even if he got Liverpool relegated he'd still be King Kenny. I wasn't alive when he was in his prime with Liverpool, but there's a reason he's held in such regard and ALWAYS will be no matter what he does. He knows Liverpool inside out, and he worked under Paisley and will have obviously got guidance from the great Shanks too. He is the King of Anfield..
February 9, 201114 yr ANDY GRAY AND RICHARD KEYS SIGN WITH TALKSPORT LOL Two more reasons not to listen to Taslksport
February 9, 201114 yr Why do I support Carlisle when they put me through sheer agony? They nearly threw away a 4 goal lead from the first leg of the northern final of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy. :drama: Another game at Wembley for us, but listening to the commentary I think nail manicurists will be fixing a lot of bitten nails up in Cumbria as well as other places. :heehee: Anyway, we're up against Brentford at Wembley somehow. :heehee:
February 13, 201114 yr Rooney's goal yesterday was good. But he hit it with his shin instead of his foot I'm sure LOL I don't think it's the 'best ever' goal scored either as a lot of people seem to be proclaiming...Rivaldo's where he chests the ball down under pressure and then hits it sweetly is a better bicylce kick for sure. Rooney's was definitely a sweet goal though...
February 14, 201114 yr It isn't one of the best ever scored but it IS one of the best ever filmed. The camera, particularly in slo-mo, caught him absolutely perfectly. Impressed by his celebration too though - even if he does look like a right berk.
February 14, 201114 yr It's had the impact of being the best goal because of the situation. If that was the fourth goal in a 5-0 home win over Wigan it wouldn't have had the impact, but a late winner against your local rivals, it's the perfect situation.
February 14, 201114 yr Who has said Rooney's goal is the best goal ever scored? :s I have heard numerous people say it, online and offline..granted most of these people seem/are complete r*t****.
February 14, 201114 yr Love how Ancelotti is basically having to change his entire team to fit Torres in, and he's still flopping hard.
February 16, 201114 yr Carlisle have managed to beat Oldham Athletic at Boundary Park. Bit of a surprise after 3 league defeats on the bounce, including one of the bottom teams Walsall. Oldham have been very good at home this season, which is why it is a surprise to me.
March 2, 201114 yr Good God Alex Ferguson is a hypocritical twat. Rooney should never have been playing you old fool! I do find it odd though, that if it was another player they probably would have been banned, and Man Utd have Chelsea and Liverpool as their next two games, and they are both huge games... "You want a fair referee - or a strong referee, anyway - and we didn't get that," said Ferguson. "When I saw who the referee was I did fear it. I feared the worst." What's the betting he doesn't even get a slap on the wrist for those comments either?
March 2, 201114 yr He has a point though, the referee should have just come out before the game and said "I think Rooney should have been banned, so he's getting nothing tonight". Rooney should have been banned, youre right, but he wasn't, and that's the FA's fault... Rooney should have had a penalty, we should have had a free kick before Chelsea went up the other end and scored and their penalty was debatable at best. Much worse than Howard Webb has ever done, he's basically cost us the league..
